edit: nvm, found it by myself, it is Flobots-No Handlebars
Flobots are not hip-hip or rap. They have a violinist in the band ffs. If anything they are indie/alternate rock + Show Spoiler +
Who says violins can't be hiphop?
Also, rapping is merely a technique to deliver lyrics; it itself is not limited into a genre.
Haha dude that song is absolutely amazing! Thanks for posting!
EDIT: Damn, check out the likes and dislikes on YT. 50 000 likes, 0 dislikes. Never seen that before.
I love freestyles so much! Especially D12. Some people might not like this, but i think this Rap is the best, freestyles with random beats, guys round microphones etc. It's also videos like these how you see just how good Proof was as a rapper, and it so annoying he is no longer with us! RIP Proof
I'm not all that impressed to be honest. I mean, Rittz has great flow which can be overlooked if he didn't make sure his songs never step over his vocals, but he's not really doing much to wow me either. The video itself is pretty tame despite the hot babes with tats, but he's also had some other songs that show his persona a bit more. Southern hip-hop has produced some pretty legendary acts from Outkast to CunninLynguists and I don't really feel something that separates Rittz from a lot of other good but not great rappers.
The Games new album was released on Spotify the other day and i gave that a listen too. I like The Games voice so i just think it naturally gives sick vibes to his songs. Check it out if you can!
As in Jesus Piece? I dunno, I really cant stand The Game, for various reasons felt like everyon song he just used the guest artist's flow. seriously, i don't even know where game begins and j cole ends on their song on that album.
Haha i guess, i do get suckered in to catchy beat songs. But i always find the way his voice is, his lyrics sound so good. Or maybe im living off his other success and am to bias xD

If you're enjoying it thats all matters tbh, and his voice is pretty damn good for the right mood.
This is truly an amazing song, Chamillionaire is one of the very few rappers that manage to almost always deliver sick songs with sick beats. This song being my favorite. It is a mixtape song by the way.

its less that he takes the guest artist's and more that he's trying to show he can be diverse, i think
theres some albums that just sound like... i dont want to use the word "classic" but they sound like youve heard them a million times before after a few listens even if theyre completely new - and thats a good thing. game's first was like that, everything on Documentary was great. he kinda tapered off and his albums since then - doctor's advocate, LAX, Red - has had a few very good songs and a lot of mediocre ones but when he's on point he's very good.
recently i feel like he's been showing he can do more than one style, which is why it sounds like that.
IE on Red album, he has a biggie flow on The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly but takes on more of a southern thing for Speakers on Blast. it just so happens that big boi is on the track.
still enjoyable though. i like his voice most of the time

I dunno, I just feel like on a song such as:
he just apes J.Cole's style so ridiculously hard. You can have a variety of flows (you mentioned Big Boi, he's a beast at coming up with new cadences and the like) without just directly copying the guy on your track.
