I don't think there's any implication but they all were a group who caused problems a while back and were imprisoned. They have presumably all been in prison for a long time.

They were in the prison for 13 years (or 17 can't remember which). I think 13, but they said how long they were in prison. So a good amount of time, it's possible they tried to capture korra as a kid or something.
I imagine we will find that out later.

I loved the first two seasons and the clips I've seen of the third look amazing! However, I only found out when I saw this thread that it was finally out. Does anyone know of a safe place to watch the episodes that one has missed? I checked the Nickolodeon website and they are not yet up there. Sorry if this seems like a bad post, but if there are good websites it might be a nice addition to the OP too.

Im really looking forward to the new evil benders, its basically like anti-avatar team fire, water,air, earth vs mako, bolin, korra, kai (guessing he's gonna fill the air spot) asami i guess fills the nonbending sokka role (without the awesomeness)
btw which one of the evil benders is the azula voice actor, i remember reading that they got the old azula person to do a voice of someone new, (when they did zuko it was super clear) but i each of the introductions i couldnt hear her voice

The difference is that Grey DeLisle is a talented voice actor who has at least a moderate range of voices. Dante Basco(Zuko) just uses his natural voice for every character.

I pretty much hated all three episodes until a certain point. Right at the last-last moments. When that agent told all the benders that they were now part of an army. I want war. I hope its the Earth Kingdom vs. the free states.
