No, this is not a joke/trolling thread. We don't need more filler posts asking if it is. Remember to spoiler season 6 content, and clearly label your spoilers.

But seriously, what's the difference between a guy watching this and a guy watching Lucky Star or Azumanga Daioh? I love Lucky Star and Azumanga Daioh. So apparently not much.

So apparently not much. Okay, having googled Lucky Star, an adult male interested in the lives of young girls in school could be said to have "deviant thoughts" and a tendency to be emotionally disturbed and possibly a danger to children. MLP doesn't have the subject matter of little girls. I think that'd be a main difference, unless you live in a country where high school age is considered coming of age and into adulthood. It used to be that way in the U.S. I believe, throughout the ages until the early 70's. Now people are children until their late 20's or something, the way policy and social views have changed, diametrically from when people were married and lived to the fullest in their teens/20's, and then peaked and died around 30 back in the dark ages.

I... what? When did sexual deviancy come up? It's a cute, light-hearted series that's pretty much a slice of life cartoon. Did you even watch it? Even for someone who is a pedophile, there isn't anything that they might mind "attractive." How does interest in social interactions different from our own mean that they're emotionally disturbed? But seriously, you can't just google something, look at it for a moment or two, and say "this is for pedophiles" when you don't even know the content of an episode.

Additionally, I'm not sure what my name has to do with anything. Furthermore, If you saw a group of ~ 40 year old aged men all watching a cartoon together about teen girls, Or maybe even 'wizards of waverly place", what would you think? I know what the more mainstream majority of people I'm around would think. I'm saying that what you might think of as trolling is how people actually can view your behavior. of course, if you are watching these shows you're already out of touch with majority social moraes. I was actually saying you're pretty cool for breaking trends and ignoring social think, but how can you not be afraid that if some random stranger were to bust in on you for watching these types of things, that you might be perceived as a less than healthy individual with a problem? Lets say your sole interest is MLP and shows for children/shows that have focus exclusively on young male/female characters. How would that look to most people? But seriously, you can't just google something, look at it for a moment or two, and say "this is for pedophiles" when you don't even know the content of an episode. and yet, if that show is to have an age group of older males watching it, thats EXACTLY what mass media and uninformed majority will think, create a feeding frenzy off of, etc.
