Still the episode made me happy cause I'm a sucker. Pretty much exactly how I feel. They should have just implied that she actually liked him and then had the proposal/marriage in the movie. This woman is supposed to be a by the book kind of girl, also doesn't seem like the type to want a ring worth $1.4 million but I guess that there is a little bit of that in every woman.

His storyline was the only remotely interesting one this whole season and frankly, as good as it was, it was not entourage. And that plot device seriously only took place to make the movie tie in. That's all season 8 existed for: a teaser for the movie Fuck that. Vince's angle was so bad this season. Turtle and E I couldn't stand. Ari and Scott are the only intersting people on the show

Highlight of the episode (possibly season): the legs in E's office room. At least it's over (until the Ari spinoff happens.)

Loved it. First seasons were the best. That writer strike a couple years back killed so many good series.

I liked this season a lot more than 7 and the ending was pretty damn good overall. The Ari scene at the end though O_O Yeah but it also didn't make any fucking sense at all. Maybe it makes sense for Vince since he is an impulsive person that doesn't always think things through. But does that girl strike you as the person to get married after 24 hours? It was a very sloppy ending but i suppose with only 8 eps to wrap it up one can only do so much. But truth be told, the entire season was just forced happy ending writing with the last ep taking the cake.

(Warning: Spoilers ahead) Vince successfully recovered from rehab, his career is peaking, he just made a ton of money from the Tequila business and he is finally settling down, marrying his dream girl - this last part being totally unrealistic, seeing how she acted and what her standards were the previous episodes. E also gets his dream girl, in another extremely unplausible scenario. After all the shit her put her through, and coupled with the fact that her father literally wants to kill him, and he is one of the most powerful men in LA (not to mention a former psychotic murderer/rapist in A Clockwork Orange :D ); suddenly Vince shows up, gives her a 2 minute pep talk, and she goes through a complete 180 degrees regarding Eric. Yeah right. Turtle becomes a multi millionaire, even after making the extremely poor judgement call to sell his stock. But luckily Vince turns into a providential character, filled with wisdom. It seems like nothing can go wrong for these guys, whenever one bad thing happens to them, another amazing thing is lurking just around the corner. Drama gets his TV animated series and movie, after being on the verge of losing both. But again, Lady Fortune (and Vince's bribe money) saves his ass. And finally, Ari Gold, not only does he make a life changing decision to quit his work only as a gamble in hopes to get his wife back, but we see at the end that he is offered even a greater position than he previously held, a job that would render him nearly "Godlike status", as the show tells us. So yeah, basically absolutely each and every one of the important characters ends up with a very happy resolution. But i guess this is what the show has always been about, some guys just balling in LA, living the good life. I suppose it's only fitting that it ends on a positive and uplifting note. And makes me even more jealous that i don't get to experience that kind of lifestyle (yet) :D Overall, good show, and i'm kinda looking forward to the movie.

Is the first season worth watching to get into it? What is it even about?

Basically wish fullfillment for adult men with the largest parade of hot women on the planet and a high-end lifestyle that we would all like to have. The comedy is good in the earlier seasons and the overall feel is something you won't really find anywhere else. I went through the first 6 seasons in about 2 weeks.

Just pretend that Vince's dealer breaks into the house at the end of 7 and kills everyone and it's decent enough even though 7 sucked as well it's basically the story of four dudes who go to Vegas after one of the guys (vince) breaks it big as a movie star.

Except at some point they stopped including tons of hot naked chicks and the humor got weak unless Ari/Lloyd were carrying it. Ari really is pretty great though, especially early. The College Humor take on it is actually pretty accurate, as far as the story arcs go.

Wow I watched True Blood season final just before this and that made more sense than Entourage. Oh well. Just as I settle for 1 Jessica scene per True Blood episode I guess I can live with one Sophia scene in Entourage.
