He was killed off because the actor got another job, Rakharo's role is actually being played out by the newly introduced bloodrider Kovarro (who is a TV only character).
As for the hill tribes: are we SURE they aren't in the show? When we first see Tyrion arriving in King's Landing, he's followed by Bronn and a man with a giant 2H axe. I seriously hope they have Shagga around. The way he used them increased my love for Tyrion, and they were somewhat important to the storyline.
Pretty positive the hill tribes will still be around since I agree they were with Tyrion when he rolled up in KL. I think we'll see them later when things start ramping up in the city. No point cluttering scenes where you're already dealing with newer/lesser known characters though.
===
Ros really needs to go though, there's nothing important that we can't be getting elsewhere and it cheapens Littlefinger's character to have him hanging out in one whorehouse all the time. He's master of coin with his finger in a lot of pies, yet half the time we see him he's in the same brothel.

Shouldn't your name be Yara? Hardy har har. I think we might see a bit of the hill tribes, not too much though. Yes Ros need to go really badly imo, I really can't believe they are taking screen time from the others for this character. A travesty!
Geo.Rion if you find that Arianna chapters you'll be my TL hero for the week.
Anyone loving the Tyrion/Cersei scenes as much as I am? So good.

I do, but I love everything Tyrion.
He's by far the deepest character and I've been paying close attention to him since his conversation with John Snow and albeit being shocked about Tyrwin's demise, I'm glad he assasinated him.
Tyrion is also the only character I wish a happy ending for, against all odds.

I don't see what people find wrong with the way littlefinger is acting, apart from the cersei confrontation it basically fits his character very good: ruthless and only caring about his own position and money. Sure, they did not change his character, but in the books he was so, so much more subtle, and it took the readers so much longer to figure him out. In the show there's nothing to figure out in the first place, they show him just as he is with no subtlety whatsoever. I gotta agree. A lot of the strength of the main players (Littlefinger, Pycelle, Varys) comes from not knowing their motivations. Characters who kept you guessing as to what their game is. Reminds me of the Pycelle reveal from S1. I expect Varys to do something 'in character' shortly - a sense of dread looms over me when I think that Ros might be involved somehow. lol

Can someone remind me what the Pycelle reveal from S1 and who Ros is again? O.o I seem to have forgotten...
I agree though... Putting Littlefinger out there as a 'big player' kind of ruins it. I mean, personally I knew Littlefinger had always been getting in on the action and intrigue, but I always discounted him as not truly dangerous when compared to, say, Varys. But then Feast rolls along and I felt like it was a bait and switch and thinking "holy shit, Littlefinger is behind everything".

I'm pretty happy with how things are looking after S2:ep2. I honestly don't care what they do with Craster or Ros --- they're insignificant in the big picture.
As long as they don't fuck up the big picture. HBO's interpretation of Storm of Swords will make or break the series for me.

I think he's referring to the scene in Ep 10 of Season 1 where they show Pycelle with a whore and being quite a bit more spry and active than he often reveals. Probably a precursor (or replacement) of the scene where Tyrion catches him with a serving girl and banishes him to the dungeons.
And Ros is the whore they created for the TV show who has been getting quite a bit of screen time, when obviously all of her scenes were not in the books. Many people are wondering what purpose her character serves other than the weekly dose of titties.

The scenes and the acting felt a lot more well put together this time. And the CGI of Ghost looked real bad ass too. Still, after every episode I feel like it was way too short. We haven't even seen Renly in the first two episodes! Gah!
Its kind of nice to experience the plot again through the show, cause I don't remember much of the details of the books from this point forward. Like, when it revealed the girl Theon had been hitting on was his sister I had a nice lulz. I had forgot all about that. I can remember the big story arcs, but I don't remember how they get from step to step which makes it exciting to watch the show. I remember Dany being stuck in the desert, but I can't remember how she gets out and gets her army going again so I'm in anticipation waiting for that to happen.
Though I do like the excitement of having the tv show re-reveal the plot elements, I'm tempted to go back and reread all the books because I haven't read the fifth yet and I would want to read the first four before again before I immerse myself in it. I guess I am somewhat cursed with my memory, because I can still recall every single thing. So I am glad when they make a few changes to the TV-series that aren't in the books, like Jon getting punched out by Craster. It probably won't butterfly out of control, but it was still a nice surprise.
Ya, so long as they don't make any large changes in the story, I don't mind. Seeing as I can't even remember the minor details very well, I'm not going to complain if they change them once in a while haha

I've just finished "A Dance with Dragons", being under the impression I had another book waiting for me, just to be disappointed by the lack of reading material.
2014-2015 is the ETA of the 6th book. There's a chapter out already from it, and GRRM read recently part of a Victarion chapter, and allegedly an Arianna chapter too, however i cant find the latter Took me like 10mins to get who you mean by "Arianna" and it got me so confused T_T
You do mean Arienne Martell right?^^

They showed Arya and Gendry fight in the preview for the next episode, so I guess that's when they Night's Watch boys are gonna fight sir Amory Lorch, and Yoren's gonna die.

So is episode 3 sneak premiered online as well? If so, does anyone know when?

This has been answered a hundred times. No, it was a mistake for them to leak episode 2 and they aren't going to do it again.

Any ideas on why they made Davos non-religious?
He was a pretty strong supporter of the seven through and through.....very strange.
Also I really love how people are misreading melisandry's "I will give you a son" line. Shadow demon son thingy that will kill your brother more like xD

He was a pretty strong supporter of the seven through and through.....very strange. He really wasn't. I remember one of his early chapters describing how, like most men, he "believed" in the Seven and would make offerings to them when his wife got pregnant, he was sailing into battle, etc...but he was never particularly devout and rarely prayed or asked the gods for guidance.
Even after he thinks he has a conversation with the Mother, after the Battle of the Blackwater, his faith isn't strong enough to leave Stannis, who has committed serious blasphemies against the Seven.

Looking forward to the reactions from the non-book readers when they see the son Melisandre gives Stannis.
