What Killua did was make sure that Illumi will target him instead of Alluka. Even if he returns Alluka to the family, they can't use her because of Killua's latest request, so right now the target marked is Killua.

i think this chapter was a great representation of the weakness in the zoldyck family. they are assassins and everyone in the family was raised to basically purge their emotion for their job and in turn lacked the one thing that allowed them to comprehend and use their strongest weapon. thinking that they could reign everything through logic and fear and disregard love, freedom and individuality in the family is a driving point home and something i believe killua wished to get through.

Illumi does want Killua to become an Assasin but he didnt neccesarily want to control him, now however hes more inclined to controlling killua since he gets alluka as a package deal

Philosophy of characters I suppose, at least I learned something new, unlike Bleach. Grinds teeth* Although it seems Naruto and Bleach are beginning to gear up, Naruto was the most interesting this week, followed by Hunter X Hunter, then Bleach. (I always rate these 3 together). Yea the last panel was not unexpected, but I grinned.

I would rate hxh above naruto this week. and bleach is typically last for me... naruto just had no substance even though is sometimes fun seening them go back and forward in big battles...
Togashi is the only Managaka i know of/read that has such inconsistent quality, in terms of drawings, you figured he would have good assistance by now.... but his story is always interesting, specially when i feel like some of the depth comes from his illness/sickness.

Good point. I usually rate HxH above the other two 95% of the time, but Naruto is trying to get somewhere...I think. Ah screw it, HxH first in my heart still  .

if it wasnt for the art and hunter x hunter never actually having any worthwhile fights id rank it above Naruto
but it feels like the author is just giving up i wouldnt mind some insanely long time skip or something so gon and Killua can be teens or something and do proper hunter work where they kick ass and stuff instead of being snotty brats
