He's their doctor, and in their world right now, that's more important than if he's beating on some people in the background. Besides, she'd likely demand proof, then accuse Rick of trying to cause unrest when he can't provide any (not like the wife will admit it). And even if they get proof and everything, what then? Abuse probably isn't a kill worthy offense, but it's not like they can do much else to him. They can kick his ass and move him to another house with a promise of more beatings if he ever tries anything.

That's presuming this would be her first time leaving him (it would seem so unless everyone knows and just turns a blind eye)?

Rick's group is gonna get thrown out or attacked in a few episodes. Diane was already worried she was putting Rick's group in power positions. She's going to hear her son died (the coward is going to lie and say Glenn's group killed / left him), Rick's boner is going to cause confrontation with the drunkard.

I would assume Deanna would not trust the priest (as if most people even know his name ![]() I would really like it if Maggie gave full disclosure about having overheard, but I kinda doubt she will. I'm slightly wondering how the story/debrief of the mission will go, but it should be straightforward. Just somehow I have a feeling that what the priest said would affect it negatively and not make it go well. They mentioned they lost other people, and said it was cause they didn't stick to the plan (or something like that). Now he revealed it was in fact them that fucked it all up (likely why he was so quick to follow glen's lead, cause he knows they suck at it).

Won't leave works in normal society where due process exists and police and law needs proof. In Rick's world you just kick ass or kill whoever is making problems with no due process or lots of proof. So she is safe if she leaves because her husband cannot play innocent with "authority" as authority does not care about being nice or fair.

Otherwise great episode. The scene with Glen & Noah was brutal to watch.
