You need food production to run a society. There's a reason why humanity didn't really take off until we dropped the hunter-gatherer habit and settled down. Right now the "society" they have going in Alexandria enjoys a surplus of supplies and everyone is happy. What happens when they start rationing the food, water, alcohol, bullets, clothes and maybe even space? They're destined for failure unless they start growing their own stuff, providing for their own needs. Maybe establishing a farm right outside the walls? Or domesticate some cows? I wish they'd show more of this.

Unrest galore in Alexandria. Poor Noah. Poor son of leader woman who was a dick at first but was legitimately trying to change. Hope they hang the other guy or something equally as bad for all the shit he caused. And Rick gets to kill the husband of the woman he was going to have an affair with anyway guilt free? Looks like things are looking up for him, lol. Also, damn that priest. After all that talk about what he's done, he turns around and is all "these other people are so terrible!".

For anyone unaware, Noah is suppose to appear on Criminal Minds, I can only assume as a new regular. Explains his sudden death. It's funny what our preacher said at the end, considering there were two instances of Alexandria people leaving their own behind, whereas Rick's group attempted to save both of the people in those two scenarios. Leader lady (forgot her name already sadly) is going to be interesting to see. Rick is probably going to screw a certain something up, justifying her suspicion about him and his group.

I don't know how far they are going to take this, but I can already imagine how this all plays out and it's going to be tragic. I wouldn't be so sure Rick is out of the woods on looking like the asshole though. Abusive guys know how to make it look like what's happening isn't their fault. Also he's the town doctor and rick's group didn't bring one of their own so it won't be so easy to get everyone to sign on to killing him. Since there is no legitimate threat of being imprisoned long term, Carol is most likely right that the only way to keep him from hurting her and her from going back to get hurt is killing him, the rest of the town probably won't see it that way. Expect drama. This episode and the next 2 are why I sit through the other ones I like less. Takes time to build that pain/anger.

Why did Carol say Rick will have to kill Pete? Can't they just tell Deanna that he's a wife beater and let her deal with him? I liked Noah but I'm very happy that he died. I was afraid that Alexandria is going to be full of disposable redshirts and the main crew will remain intact but fortunately I was wrong.

Did they change writers recently or something? Why did Carol say Rick will have to kill Pete? Can't they just tell Deanna that he's a wife beater and let her deal with him? I liked Noah but I'm very happy that he died. I was afraid that Alexandria is going to be full of disposable redshirts and the main crew will remain intact but fortunately I was wrong. Deanna can't really do anything. He's their doctor, and in their world right now, that's more important than if he's beating on some people in the background. Besides, she'd likely demand proof, then accuse Rick of trying to cause unrest when he can't provide any (not like the wife will admit it). And even if they get proof and everything, what then? Abuse probably isn't a kill worthy offense, but it's not like they can do much else to him.
