Also at the end, was that intending to show as Rick becoming homicidal/power-hungry or what?

Doesn't seem like she'd do either of those things, but it's not impossible. Also at the end, was that intending to show as Rick becoming homicidal/power-hungry or what? Rick's bit is him fighting with his urge to simply take what he wants (like he's been doing while surviving), versus following how society works. Seems like his urges are winning. Carol's bit was weird, yeah. Chocolate is her being greedy (and will obviously lead to them catching her), and the kid part didn't make a lot of sense. No need to give such an elaborate threat. Thing that bothered me most was the kid's acting though. Here's a nice friendly women threatening to kill you, and you stare blankly at her the entire time. No fear, no confusion, no anger; just blankly stare at her.

He's not exactly the charismatic or trustworthy type you'd follow to his too-good-to-be-true camp. hmm they can play good cop, bad cop then. And one guy will stay behind for safety anyway while the nice one introduces himself, just like Aaron did. I think a large part of the job is to just sneak up on people and observe. And only interact with them if youre convinced that they are good people.

I don't think the writers need to "ration" content from the comics. It's already season 5 in the show. From what I read online, there's 24 volumes of the comics so far (with no end in sight) and this episode is volume 12. At this rate, the show might have 10+ seasons.

Also did anyone else get a 'gay' vibe from Daryl this episode?

It would be pretty kick-ass if the story here is that it is Rick's group that ends up being in the wrong. They've become too paranoid to be able to be part of the new group, betraying them (stealing weapons, threatening kids), and ultimately being responsible for the new group's downfall. But we can't have our good guys become bad guys, can we? I still want Rick to become the new guv'ner.
