Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

Glenn said it himself in the episode. Despite atl, the outbreak, the cdc, even the governor, its a fucking cold that does them in. Its the truth. It shows that even if you can hack your way through hundreds of zombies, you can't take your life for granted in the zombie apocalypse and things like having standards for quarantine, public health, and most apparent, supplies for these situstions are a must. Just cuz your a kick ass buff guy like shane or something, doesnt protect you from illness. I thought this plot was a legit one but hey lets watch 12 episodes of zombie harvest moon instead cuz thats what you guys want to see? Ok.

Anyway, for those that like everything about TWD well good for you. I'm not trying to say you're wrong, I'm (and others) just stating what I think is bad, that's what that kind of thread is for anyway it's just a gauge of what works with people and what doesn't.

The more excuses you have to come up with to justify the shoddy writing (stupid character actions) just goes to show how poorly this season/series is going. I used to be a pretty big fan but season 2 was pretty awful at first. Season 3 had some good episodes but did they ever mess up the finale. I don't know why people get so upset when people complain and point out obvious flaws in logic.

It's a forum after all. You post something in public you run the risk of it being criticized. I doubt anyone is taking it personal here. Person X thinks such and such sucks about the show, person Y thinks X's view is all wrong...and around we go. Nothing new. I mean, I didn't write the show, lol. I'm not hurt by the comments. I just feel like people tend to give an overly disproportionate analysis of the cons and pay no attention to the things that are done right. Or hell, maybe they truly don't like anything about the show...I won't question why they're still watching as I've already been there (hi2u Dexter season 8...).

The only thing I would say is some people do get overly angry, I'm looking at Kazonomiya here, and then misrepresent other people's positions. Like saying "If you all want to watch Harvest Moon." That's gratuitous and I think Krohm is referring to that when he says some people are really bitter.

At least its better than Dexter, not gonna argue on that.

But cold murder and arson is sooo out of character for Carol that I really have to wonder if she was just lying to get back to Rick or something. Or the scriptwriters have no clue what they're doing, as they have demonstrated repeatedly throughout seasons 2 and 3.

+ Show Spoiler + Do Carol's adoptive children give anyone the vibe that they're the female version of the psychotic twins that Dale and Andrea adopt? (The pair where one one goes insane and murders his twin.)

But he's just one of a few others I've noticed being unnecessarily snide, hostile, and bitter about criticism. I get honest counter arguments but lately it's just been people making up dumb excuses for dumb things that have happened in the series in the past few episodes. People will just defend anything they like based solely on the grounds that they like it. No matter who flimsy, baseless, and uneducated their excuse (defense) is. I guess it's just something that "irks" me. Anyway I'm going to drop this because I feel like this is all getting out of hand right now. I wonder what the next episode has in store for us! The TV series has strayed so far from the comic book I doubt something like that would be incorporated.

(The pair where one one goes insane and murders his twin.) Yes, I'm pretty sure that's what is going to happen. + Show Spoiler + The younger one was hysterical when her father was dying; now it seems like she's going complete psychopath. Kinda hilarious considering how they killed the show versions of Allen, Donna, and Ben in season 3. Goes to show how much foresight (or lack thereof) the writers have. It's completely in character if you look at everything that's happened to her since and before the outbreak. She feels like she has the obligation to be proactive. That's why she's pissed; her efforts to contain the flu was in vain. Regarding the complaints in this thread, just read the comic books. Without spoiling anything, "main" characters consistently get killed off whenever they or one of their friends do something stupid (probably because Robert Kirkman doesn't have to worry about killing an actor's paycheck). The majority of the actions the characters take are logical. The action scenes leave much to the imagination so you don't sit their crying about how poorly choreographed the scene was.

I thought this plot was a legit one but hey lets watch 12 episodes of zombie harvest moon instead cuz thats what you guys want to see? Ok. A plot with only one possible outcome is not really exciting or interesting to watch imo. The concept is just a bit silly and i dont see a way how it makes a lot of sense. You get a normal flu, your immune system gets weakened and the zombie virus takes over and kills you. Only very few people get killed by the flu itself, its more by other infections that are caused by a weak immune system. But there's no way you can prevent a flu once in a while because there are so many different forms and a vaccination only helps against one form. So you would have to find something against the zombie virus itself... which doesnt exist at this point. and if they die all die from the flu and turn afterwards then its definetely not a normal flu because a flu doesnt kill you in 99% of the cases and doesnt make you cough blood. in the show its like they are all going to die sooner or later. They just have to close their prison doors and sit it out. So i cant wait to get over this plot and start with the real stuff.
