Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

You don't have any kind of argument.

His house was boarded, and he had a shotgun by his bed, yet he still believes the police force and therefore society is still intact? If so, how...? All alone out in the middle of nowhere, lots of people live like that with no contact whatsoever with the outside world. In this case it's possible that he thinks the world is functioning just fine and the zombies (he might have only seen 1-2 at most this entire time he's so deep in the forest) are just crazy hill-billies or something.

Theres a dead dog in his house, which was remarked as smelling particularly bad. The house was boarded up and full of cans. He has to be aware of the apocalypse but extremely demented. I'd assume he's probably just schizophrenic. I can't think it impossible in this world to be a year into an apocalypse for 1 person on the planet to be so delusional they seemingly aren't aware of it.

Also to people comparing GoT with how much they show compared to The Walking Dead. Remember GoT is on a private HBO funded channel that doesn't have anyone to listen to with how it edits stuff. The Walking Dead is on most basic cable TV packages (AMC) and it's on the main networks, they can't barely show anything or even curse really.

No one could survive like that assuming he only became crazy in the last day or so. They should of made the guy some paranoid redneck, not some guy who is oblivious to the whole apocalypse.

It would be impossible for them to overlook that cabin. As stated before, it was deep in the "Red Zone" which they do not patrol or go into at all.

He lost T-Dog, didn't you pay attention to him when he was talking to Hershel that T-Dog was like family, since he went around to like churches or something to make sure he had a ride? I forgot but it showed that he really liked T-Dog as a brother. Also when he was being questioned by Merle, T-Dog was brought up to be dead and it showed in his face that he really was sad

They're all like family to eachother to varying degrees, some more some less. I don't think it was nearly as compelling as Rick/Carl losing Lori, Carol losing Sophia, Andrea losing her sister, etc. They even only spent one episode highlighting this friendship, and I'm pretty sure it was to make his death more eventful for an otherwise underdeveloped character.

It's a wierd collage of all three, no one really knows whats gonna happen. On November 27 2012 16:42 seansye wrote: Major plot twist: Maggie becomes pregnant. Dun dun dun. Too long is the tv series holding stuff back. Just take the leap forward and do it. Make it dark as shit. That's what TWD really is: a very dark human drama which is meant to question your morals. The whole ZA is merely a plot device to bring everything out. When things go to shit, how would a person act? It's meant to get you thinking of what you would do and question yourself. That's what TWD is about, not Lori pmsing for an entire year and then "omg carl shot his bitchy mother! Traumatized for life!" This isn't and shouldn't be As the World Turns.

He realized Maggie would not speak so he had to change his strategy.
