Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

There needs to be A LOT more maggie in this show. In my opinion, she is INCREDIBLY hot. Perhaps a spin-off where she performs sexual acts for survival supplies wandering from survivor camp to survivor camp. I mean, in a zombie apocalypse situation, the scrappy survive...and really only people who's individual gifts allow them to survive. Rick is a cop, the redneck has great tracking abilities and that rug munching cancer woman is good at doing laundry. Why is it so far fetched to think that she would use her AMAZING good looks to survive.
Also, am I the only one that who's main goal in the zombie apocalypse would be to hunker down and let them starve to death? I mean, I realize in this show they are able to not starve for a long period of time, but if shit ever went down IRL, wouldn't they all die of starvation in 30 days or so? Hit me up if things start to head that direction...strength in numbers...semper fi brothers.

So one starts walking, others will notice it and follow, and so on, and that's how roaming herds show up And explained in Season 1 after Rick meets up with the Atlanta group, him and Glenn put guts all over themselves and walk to get the bag of guns through a herd of walkers. But it starts raining, washing off the guts and the walkers start becoming aware of their presence. Just to make sure people get it, its explained in this ep even right after she slices the zombie open and its guts fall on her. She walks out past the zombies and they don't notice her. it's the only thing that slightly bothered me. If any bite gives you a fever and kills you. How can you basically bathe in their guts and not get sick ? Especially when you have a hole in your leg. Bacteria or whatever infects them doesn't instantly die when exposed to air.. It already bothered me in season1. Touching zombie blood should be a BIG no-no.
Bacteria that colonize in the mouth and the extremities (e.g., fingers) can cause an infection when the zombie bites/scratches a person, but what makes you assume that the bacteria are present within the blood/guts? In other words, what makes you assume that there is an infectious agent floating around inside the zombies?

You can live like 60 days without food. Water is much more important.

Useless Carl, lolololol. Hes anything but useless this season.

But yes, it was convenient timing. No, I get that they were attracted by the shots. It's just that the started a fight which lasted all of 10 seconds, and then 6 zombies appeared a couple seconds later. It would have been a lot better if they showed one or two of them coming in the background before Michonne attacked. The way all of them just appeared really felt like they were thrown in there for the sole purpose of letting Michonne get away, instead of just being randomly attracted to the sound. I don't know, but that's the feeling I got from that scene. Like a plot device, instead of something that's always looming and sometimes convenient.
If I was 1 vs 2 without a gun like Michonne, I would wait till zombies where about to attack too.

I have a bad feeling Maggie is going to die based on the 'next week previews'. Hope it isn't the case cause I like her character and she is mighty hot...
Regardless was a great episode, next week's is looking pretty awesome too...

I am still laughing at the 60 days without food. Seriously, a fact check wouldn't hurt. ;-)
Here are my guesses for next episode: 1. Maggie is in for a baaaaaaaaaaad time next episode. I would bet that she will not die, though. But she will get hurt in some way. I am not sure about Glenn, but my guess is that he will get away without anything major happening to him. It's much more cruel to hurt the girl he loves than to hurt him directly, so the Gov. will do it like this (being the sick bastard that he is).
2. The Gov suspects that Merle was lying to him. The look near the end of this episode was telling a lot. Tension will rise between these two.
3. Andrea will spend the whole next episode not realizing that Maggie and Glenn are captured. She will then be devastated when she finds out in two weeks and probably get killed because of it.
Let's see how well my predictions do! :D

i see plenty of ppl lived 50 days without food so not sure why you're laughing. but they had water of course.
granted with how much fat she has on her (read: none) she probly wouldn't last that long, but it's not like it hasn't happened ...

I think your predictions are pretty accurate.
Although given the comics.. + Show Spoiler +i could see them doing something like cutting off glen or maggie's arm like the gov does to rick in the comics, but since it would be a pretty unpopular move if they did it in the show, they could do that to a support character like glen or maggie.
I could also see them doing something really bad to maggie to send glen into a fury. There is a general theme that when someone one is "happy" or things are going their way, the next episode punishes them back down.

What an episode, so much going on! Merle chasing ninja Michonne, Rick's phantom phonecalls, Merle established as still being a scumbag murderer, Andrea spreading her legs for yet another villain, Merle kidnapping Glenn & Maggie, Michonne finding the prison, Carol being found. If you look back at how little happened on Herschel's farm in season 2...
