I'm so glad they're going to end up at the prison. This is immensely psychologically appealing. I love the idea of them trying to hole up in a fortified area that could actually repel large zombie numbers. They pushed over the rickety old wood fences but they wouldn't get through a 20 foot high barbed wire fence. I figure there's no way the show would dangle that bit and then have them miss it. As well as the new badass with the zombies following.
The prison is amazing for a lot of reasons... Basically its a perfect place to hole up. Which is kind of exactly what the group needs right now. Tension is high, nerves are frayed, people are at odds with each other. Splitting up is the worst idea ever and they would certainly die off if they did that. What's her name thats always sad and annoying and maggie are being silly. Chancing it on your own when you are weak, lacking discipline, and unable to properly use firearms is suicide. Crazy Rick or not, he is a much better choice right now.
The prison is essentially the perfect place to live. Incredibly secure with sturdy fences, gates, guard towers, walls, etc. It probably has lots of floors and secure doors so they could sleep very securely with plenty of beds. There is also probably an armory that is likely to have at least some guns still in it. The armory at the station still had things in it so this is likely to have more than that I would say. They can park all their vehicles securely and essentially they can live close to a normal life for the time being. The one worry I can see is food so I would guess that they'll have 2-4 people go out on foraging missions to try and scrounge up whatever valuable stuff they can find like fuel, batteries, extra tools, etc. I'm curious to see if anyone will already be inhabiting it though. It seems like it's a pretty big place for only 10 people to man.
Great ending to the season overall. Everyone was disliking the stagnation at the farm and it's ended now with a few deaths. I somewhat expected Andrea to go down surrounded by a huge mob but props to her for making it out. She's got the most survival ability after Rick I think. Can't wait to see where it goes season 3!

Well thank you for addressing the issue. You're right in that I was one of the people who complained about Michonne's appearance. But you're wrong in guessing my reasons. And that is why you need to quote the people you complain about otherwise you're lumping different people together.
As it is, I'm actually up to date on the Walking Dead series having read 93 issues thus far. I have zero issues with Michonne the comic character. I don't have issues with Michonne the series character either because we've only seen 10 seconds of her. My only gripe was the Anime like way she was introduced. It's out of place. There were so many ways to shoot that scene without being overly cheesy. Unfortunately it was just one of many terrible things I found with the season finale. Maybe I'm being overly negative but I've seen shows that are infinitely more complex to pull off but with smart writing and directing it became seamless. I'm of course talking about Firefly. And I'm not even a sci-fi geek.
Television isn't always easy to do. When it's done well it shows. But when the writing and acting sucks it really is hard to ignore. You can really tell the series as it is is a far cry from the first couple episodes of S1. I'm still going to watch it because I'm a big fan of the comics but man if they could just tighten up all the loose ends...
But that's just me. Obviously everyone has different tastes. I don't think I'm being way too judgmental.

I was hoping it was Geralt of Rivia with the sword at the end, that would've been awesome. This Michonne and the governor do sound like cool characters though. Looking forward to next season.

Lori makes me want to stop watching the show. She is so unbelievable as a character, she tells rick to kill shane and then she gets all pissed off?. If rick had just walked away without carl randomly showing up they would still be safe on the farm and the horde would have just kept walking. Maybe zombie shane would show up and they could just quietly dispatch of him.

Rick and Carl jumps onto the RV and instead of flooring it he gets up his seat and a bunch of zombies grab him and eat him. In fact, it seems like the Greene family has a knack for dying under the dumbest circumstances. Patricia was snatched by a leaping zombie that seemed to have the reflex of a Jamaican sprinter.
There's a lot to criticize in this show (especially this season) but this one that I don't see nearly enough. Unnatural dialogue, poor acting, and a really weak plot can be difficult to fix, but the these two deaths (and most of the escape scene) were really bad. Patricia's death in particular (assuming that's her name, I really never cared enough about her to learn it) was poorly done. The zombie comes out of nowhere, which is fine. I mean, what's a zombie show without zombies jumping out from around corners? The trouble is that the characters should have been able to see this zombie and easily avoid it. It was out of our (the camera's) line-of-sight, but it would have been about a foot away from the characters, in an open area (no trees, doors, sharp corners, or other sight blockers), and, up until about 1 second before the bite, right in front of them.
It's like they showed up on set with no plan and just started shooting. I know she was a minor character, but it was a major scene. The whole thing lacked cohesion. It was almost impossible to tell where any individual character was at any given time. How the hell did Andrea and Carol get separated? Weren't they right next to each other. If Andrea had to run to save herself, did the zombies just not want Carol? I mean, she looks a little frail, but I don't think the undead are too picky.

Finally at the guy mad about the tires, even for consistency, you only notice these things if you nitpick about the episode most of the time. I'd rather they be not consistent and use the right tires than have Daryl slip and injure himself? Here's a bunch of Matrix mistakes that seem to be much worse than replacing tires and from a major producer. @blug, you need an energy source to survive. As we have not encountered non-organic and non-carbon based lifeforms, we are in no position to say they need energy to survive. It's like asking if Superman needed to eat, which is very debatable. Ideally, walkers should be crawlers, since walking requires memory, but zombies should have no memories of anything. But crawling zombies would be too easy. Running should be impossible, and is, rightly so. It's not about them catching up because they're running, but because you're out of energy ( yay Andrea! ). If you are able to walk, there is work involved, and with work energy is required, so there must be an energy source. Unless of course it's super natural... They are zombies, of course they are super natural. Well, although they could be supernatural, that's assuming that the zombies weren't created through a blunder in science or was a deliberate terrorist type action. But to be fair he is a supersticious old man xD Its not uncommon for science to create things that are supernatural. Zombies by their nature are supernatural, regardless of their origin/reason. Best to not dwell on things like that too much. Science never creates something super natural and never will...by definition science is the study of nature, and something that is super natural is above nature and not held to laws of nature, and nothing super natural is known to exist and doesn't exist, if the zombies are super natural then they were not created through science and a cure isn't being developed in france... Science creates all kinds of things which are super natural. For instance, the computer you use does not occur in nature. There are many elements which were created in labs. Am I the only one that viewed the very beginning of the episode with the helicopter as the directors explaining how the herd of zombies got to the forest by the farm? Not something that happened like the same day? Cause that scene with the helicopter was in one of the earlier episodes I'm pretty sure...maybe even season 1.

No, that was exactly what the helicopter scene was intended for. It was sort of a zombie's perspective as to how they arrived on the farm and that's why at the end of the sequence you see Rick and Carl from the end scene of the previous episode.

Yeah that's something I didn't mention, that was really well executed and showed how a herd forms, walks mindlessly, then reacts to new stimuli. It did a lot of dispel the "how the hell did that group of zombies conveniently get there" feelings. It's still convenient but at least you realize that it is a meandering group that may have missed the farm if there weren't any major stimuli like gunshots/burning barn/etc.

The bite can kill because the zombies mouths are like cesspools. From my understanding its if you get bit and you fight the infection you won't necessarily become a zombie.
