That handgun didn't look like a .45 and his revolver I doubt it's a 45. Also I have shot several .45 in my life and neither of them had that kind of recoil. I do realize it comes down to nitpicking and doesn't affect the overall enjoyment of the show but it's just a bit annoying seeing him doing the same all the way since season 1

Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

Michonne Edit: Season finale showed us what we already know. Walking Dead can be a great show if things are moving. It's a shitty one when people stay on a farming jerking off.

And what is up with this actress that plays Lori, srsly if they substitute her on the 3rd season I would not be surprised, she is so fucking bad.

I hate Lori to bits, but I'm assuming that what the writer's are going for tbh, she's meant to be the irrational pregnant bitch. Rick going angry mode was cool, I wasn't to sure about the groups response whether or not they were losing faith or were growing a new respect for their leader. The Samurai lady was pretty cool, and the 2 zombies standing next to her was quite funny. Having there arms cut off and their jaws ripped of made it so they couldnt do anything =(. Also I found Jimmy's death to be quite halarious, I also found it quite halarious how no one even made a reference to him, especially considering he was the one who saved Carl's and Rick's life. Dunno. I found humour in it lol. I also found it dumb when the zombies reached the fence and they couldn't climb over it. Watching back in season 1, you had a zombie climb a fence with ease that was double the height. Infact, the zombies have become dumber since season 1, I am referencing mainly from 1 zombie trying to climb a ladder and 1 zombie breaking a window with a rock. I don't see it as a bad thing though, zombies are meant to be dumb, so the transition is a good thing, however, for consistensies sake it's pretty bad. The one thing I will say overall however is, I feel like alot of the ending of the season to be forced, I'm not sure if that's because the writers are just being lazy or if it was just intentional. It seemed that alot of things in that final episode happened just so it could stay intact with the comic book, rather than having everything span over the whole series, it spanned over one episode =(. Meh, I will end my comic book guy rant there lol.

The character was designed to be hated, and that is what she is doing. Alot of people are mixing up "bad acting" with "bad personality". She's a pregnant irrational woman, she adds flare to the show. Also, I am not making assumptions that you are meant to hate her, the character who plays Glen made a comment recently that she was meant to be hated.

She uses them as a detterent from other zombies because it masks her scent. She looks evil as fuck in the tv show, as does she in the comic, however she is quite the contrary, she joins the team and is one of the few rational people and doesn't act dumb like most of the other characters.

![]() - Surprised that Herschel survived. I expected him to refuse to leave the farm, which he did at first, but then he escaped anyway. - Predictably, most of Herschel's no-name family members died. The useless blonde girl could have died too if it was up to me. Carol, too. - Lori acts in the dumbest way imaginable, as per usual. No idea why Rick and Shane fancy that dimwitted bitch. - Andrea has developed into quite a fearsome warrior and hasn't done anything stupid recently. No more reason to hate on her. - The appearance of the ninja with the amputated zombies in tow was the cheesiest thing I've seen in a long time. I literally burst out laughing, and that says something. That might fit into an anime, but here it's completely out of place. We'll see how that turns out. - Was that a prison they showed on the very last screen? Sounds like a safe place that can't be overrun. No food or water supply though. I'm looking forward to season 3. Why do we have to wait so long?

Even though the walkers are everywhere around the house, the zombies Hershel shooting appears to advance very slowly against him. And Hershel was the vanguard of the house so how the fuck can the zombies surround the house and start wrecking havoc without first passing by Hershel? So damn cheesy and all this details of blunders keeps coming back in this series. That's what I thought at the beginning of the episode when Rick and Carl were running towards the farm away from the herd and suddenly they were everywhere, LOL. + Show Spoiler [Comic Spoilers on Prison Arc] + I wonder if Michonne will get involved with Daryl. I've always thought that T-Dog would eventually follow the same path as Tyreese (maybe he will inherit some aspects), but Daryl seems much more likely. He's the only person in the show who I can imagine taking out an entire group of zombies after being left behind (if the writers include that scene as a homage to the comic) and he's also Carol's knight in shiny armor.

Why do we have to wait so long? Why is it cheesy? If by cheesy you mean that she rocked up at the very last second to save her then fair enough. If you read the comic though, theres a reasonable explanation why she keeps those zombies near her and honestly, when her character develops shes far from cheesy.

Reality doesn't bend to the definition. We fit the definition into reality, and if reality changes, so does our definition. If something's supernatural, it means we have no explanation for it; it doesn't fit into our "nature." But if it's an observable fact, and not a random anomaly, we will change our definition of "nature" so it does fit into it. Shorter version. If somehow in Rick's world they created this epidemic, then it's part of their "nature" now. Not ours. And in this alternate universe, those are the rules that apply. You die, you become a zombie. Science is again, observations about what happens. If you turn into a zombie when you die, then that's science. We're really talking about dumb things nowadays... it's fiction. Leave it at that. @above, er, the magic of fast forwarding 30 seconds, or even that Hershel is at the front but the herd is so massive it's completely around, but the gun fire draws them closer. I don't find that as bad as an inconsistency as you do, versus other points of the show/episode. No, again you don't understand the terms you're using, supernatural is not how we explain something science can't explain. period. Supernatural is a term used for things like ghosts and demons. What you're thinking of is an anomaly and yes we change our laws of nature if through much scientific scruitiny the anomaly is proven to be something that warrants a change of how we perceive that law.

I think some of the lame, boring, little house on the prairie-ness of s2 can be attributed to the Darabont situation. Frank Darabont was reason TWD came to be. He assembled most of the crew and cast members. He oversaw the entire 1st season and the first 3 episodes of the 2nd season. After he left, there was a transition period that left an inconsistency that could be felt by the crew, cast, and the viewers. Hopefully s3 of TWD TV show can get back on track to be the bold, gory, post-apocalyptic epic that is TWD graphic novel. With what the introduction of Michonne and the prison setting in s3 implies, in regards to the graphic novel, I hope the writers and producers of the show aren't afraid to go above and beyond with the gore, drama, twists, shock and awe. Below is a Comic series spoiler about Michonne. DO NOT OPEN if you don't want to know some potential events that could unfold in season 3. + Show Spoiler + Comic series spoiler about Michonne Michonne first appeared on the road at an unknown distance away from The Prison clothed under a hood, she pulled the shackled zombies of her boyfriend and his best friend along by chain to act as a deterrent to the undead. She cut off their arms and lower jaws so that they wouldn't attack her. After several months at the prison, Michonne, along with Rick and Glenn, were part of the group that went to investigate the crash of a helicopter. It was during their travel to find the source of the occupant's disappearance that she revealed parts of her past before the epidemic. When the trio stumbled upon the town of Woodbury, Georgia, Michonne became a tragic victim of a cruel and psychotic survivor named Phillip, the "Governor" of Woodbury. The Governor betrayed and captured them, violently raping and torturing Michonne to acquire the location of the prison. The Governor later attempted to toy with her skills and sent her into their stadium fights as a participant for the crowds, but she caused more trouble than satisfaction when Michonne proceeded to kill all the participants with her katana in a gladiator style tournament. When the others eventually escaped, Michonne remained behind and tortured the Governor by scooping his eye out, chopping his arm off and cutting his penis off before making her way back to the prison with the rest of the group.
