Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

The show moves far too slowly and the main characters spend most of the time weeping and talking about their feelings. Its exhausting.

Now do the same with Lori. I want her stupid face to be smashed in, becasue 80% of everything that comes out of her mouth is generic or mindblowingly stupid. WHY DID SHE LEAVE? WHAT WAS SHE GOING TO DO? WHAT COULD SHE POSSIBLY HAVE DONE TO HELP THE SITUATION IN ANY WAY? At the very least, she wasted some fucking gas. If she got to Rick and Glen, she would have gotten her retarded ass into a hostage situation (since, as we see from the previews, theres a whole bunch of dudes outside). Best case scenario she'd arrive, tell them she wants them to come home, and then they'd go home? That would fucking happen anyways. Jesus Christ, Lori. Fucking die already ... sorry for the rant.

Step 2. Cut the budget. Step 3. Insert second rate writers and melodrama. Step 4. Hope people think the drama makes it deep Step 5. Profit.

He didn't take a vehicle, didn't take a horse(from what we saw), meaning he must of walked...and its a damn far unsafe walk, let alone he beat the 2 guys in a vehicle somehow. Hershel drove to the bar. I was asking myself the same thing when it showed Glen and Rick getting there because the director/whoever got lazy and didn't have a car already parked in front of the place. Only way you know that Hershel drove is when the now deceased dude mentions that there are "cars" plural out in front and that they both look nice/well kept and not full of junk like they were roaming nomads as Rick tried to make them out to be. The casual nature with which Andrea just picked it up, threw back in, and sat down next to a pile corpses says A LOT. I feel like everyone is missing my point. The casual nature she sat in bed of the pickup was enough. The arm just a step too far. They had already achieved their goal imo, and I guess I'm just more of a minimalist in respects to a lot of things so I thought it was entirely unnecessary.

Daryl was uncharacteristically moody this episode as opposed to his usual badassery. I think it's worth noting that Hershel, despite still being pissed at Rick, quickly banded together with him when the other two men entered the bar. The whole "Us vs Them" thing has affected him, and he identifies with Rick to a certain extent. A bit disappointed in Glen in that scene though. He gave away information, couldn't read the mood, and didn't even attempt to help Rick when it became REALLY apparent bad things were about to happen. Also most of the emotions in the beginning felt really forced. I cringed when one of the daughters in the start ran up to her (almost) dead mother crying. All in all pretty disappointing episode. Nothing really happened....at all. Man. I was hoping for more exciting things this episode. At least the next one looks promising. I thought everyone said that he said.... + Show Spoiler [What he said] + That they are literally the walking dead, so they can't be cured. Given that situation it doesn't really make sense for him to comment on her being pregnant anyways.

My question is why Rick was so damn reluctant to learn a little more about those men he shot before saying no.

Say lori has a miscarriage due to the car crash and doesn't tell shane another BS drama for a few more episodes. My question is why Rick was so damn reluctant to learn a little more about those men he shot before saying no. because he needed hershel(barn for unborn kid, his son , and the fact he feels guilty as all hell for fucking the group oover when they trusted him to lead) more than he needed anything the 2 men could potentially offer. also then the fucking awesome scene that saved the episode would've never existed + Show Spoiler + http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsQWANLhogk :D although its better with the dialouge beforehand , where they somewhat bond over going through tough shit , making the killing even more epic

I don't necessarily remember the other episodes too great, but I'd definitely vote this as the worst episode so far.

Why do you still watch? :S Anyway, I enjoyed it. I'm expecting Lori to miscarry because of the crash though. I was actually thinking of that earlier in the episode, when Rick was talking about WHY they need Herschl, and then I just couldn't help but think man, there's NO way that she ends up having a baby. That just could NOT happen for this show. She's gotta miscarry at some point. Idk, maybe I'm wrong and that's not just why her car crash got wrote into the show, but if she doesn't miscarry from that, she's gonna miscarry soon!

He sort of took offense when the other guys said "sorry, he went to college" says a lot about the company they are in if any intelligence is shat on and replaced with belligerence. After that he decides to get up and take a piss right in front of everyone. Christ even if it is a zombie apocalypse if you actually want to gain the respect and care about how these strangers see you, you sure as hell don't piss 5 feet away from them. Then the fat guy threatened to kill them ... nail in the coffin. Or I misinterpreted your question because it is a bit oddly worded and you were curious as to why he didn't shoot them earlier? To which I would answer because he to this point is at least a decent person and would try to make it out without violence even if he is picking up a slightly bad vibe. That scene was so cool because you got to feel the cop in Rick more so than anything else in the show has accomplished. You can see his training, his reaction to keep his hand close to his holster whenever he can't see their hands. That 5 or 10 minutes was expertly crafted. It's just a shame the show hasn't delivered more stuff like that. Its tough for me to take someone seriously who actually thought this was the worst episode because that moment was probably the best thing this show has had going for it since the premier.

I thought it was because of how the non-fat guy came on really strong about finding out where they lived. Shane kinda skimped around the question at first, and instead of letting it go he kept on persisting which drew more red flags. That's the way It came off to me anyway.
