And one dimensional characters. And there being no stakes for anything. And the fan service. But other than that it was alright. | ||

Can someone write a tl;dr spoiler for how it all ended? what were zeref's ending motives and what were acnologia's and how did they get defeated? What the overall ending is? | ||

What the overall ending is? obviously alot of spoilers Zeref was too tired of living forever, so he wanted to use 2 macguffins to reverse time and make it so he was never immortal in the first place Acnologia was never fully explored (thank fucking god) but its implied that his village got destroyed killing his daughter/sister/lover/BFF during the dragon war so he became obsessed with revenge to the point where be became completely consumed with it and reached the point where he was going to destroy the world Zeref lost to Natsu 1v1 then Mavis used there curses to kill both of them Acnologia ate one of the Macguffins but it was too much for him to contain so he kidnapped the dragonslayers into a mental space he created to maintain himself by splitting himself into his "soul" and "body" the dragonslayers engage him in taht space while his body rampages, the people on the outside manage to seal his body for a second which gives the dragonslayers a very small window to hit him with everything finishing him off | ||
