This guy isn't a regular grimoire heart goon, he's one of the seven lost magic users iirc
With the bomb the only thing i can really think of is that the explosion came from the timer and not the roots themselves, which means mirajane hugging the explosion would have taken the grunt of the force. But mirajane won't be dead, mashima does deaths or near deaths with alot more emotion, seams to me that from just this she won't be dead.

Hmm I really like shonen mangas and this definitely has lot of shonen in it, but its lacking to the big 3 because of its plot. Its so predictable and dull. Gang gets a mission and goes and fight a battle royale........thats basically the whole story. I would like to see more plot development. I been following the anime though.

Interesting chapter, reminds me a lot of Jellal thing once again. I'm interested to see what direction they choose to go from this point, will it be a few battles. Will we get some sort of flashback as to why Zeref is in this body?!?

If he's so good at materializing anything, he should have materialized a Zeref. These powers are getting too damn strong. Natsu is going to need some more wtf protagonist hax or some bull shit deux ex machina from Zeref for this to resolve.
