yeah community is def a show that becomes better and better with 2nd and 3rd viewing.
Honestly, its one of my favourite shows right now, Alison Brie is a goddess <3. I like how many of the references I get too. One thing I have noticed is some episodes are side spilting and some are alright, the difference in the lols are pretty big. Tremendous show.
Yes I enjoy all the in jokes that reference previous episodes just like Arrested Development. One thing in particular is when Abed became evil Abed and thoroughly analyzed Britta she came to the court room really depressed talked to Annie and one of her last remarks was "I'm thinking about dying my hair."
In its seemingly endless campaign to get fans of Community to hate it, NBC pulled the show from its original premiére date of Oct. 19 Monday, with just 11 days to go before its initial airing. According to the Twitter feed of Andy Bobrow, a producer on the show, Sony, the studio that produces the series, was readying screeners for critics when the word came down and was only just able to stop them from being sent out in time.
Might anyone explain that joke to me? I think I've heard it in "Community".
So they were talking about some black neighbourhood and the jist of it was that they wanted to buy Axe deodorant, but that was called "ask" (or so it sounded) in that neighbourhood.
"Aks" is a way many African-Americans pronounce "ask"
From urbandictionary: In the United States, the /aks/ variant is a particular feature of African American Vernacular English (AAVE). It is possible that /aks/ variant was also the form most commonly used in the dialect of English to which the slaves were originally exposed, and has persisted in AAVE for the same sociolinguistic reasons that other features persist. The /aks/ variable in AAVE is unique in that it is the only example of such a phonetic shift, and thus is unique to the word "ask."
The /aks/ variant is an example of the natural switching of sounds called metathesis. This occurs usually because in the speech sound patterns of that language or dialect that pronunciation may be easier. This is not a degenerate way of speaking. All languages and dialects are linguistically equal as they are all systematic and rule governed.

I'm aware of the video and I know what it means I suppose I should have said "on." In response to comments about the holiday episodes not being shown like Halloween and Christmas Yvette said
@Rasmin21 Who said there's no Christmas or Halloween eps?
So hopefully they will still be shown. I'm not sure how it would make sense though.
As far as it being too weird. That's what Community is. Whacky situations with a group of lovable characters. Even if season 4 is good it will still have some episodes that are bad as the same can be said for seasons 1-3 with Dan Harmon. The big question to me is not about it's weirdness but how the heck the holiday episodes will make sense given it's "October 19th" premiere and how the Chevy Chase leaving will affect the series.
