Depends on the relation between the guy and the girl.
I personally think the best way to say it would be "(insert name of the person) no koto ga suki da". if you say "~suki desu" it implies that your relation is kind of distant, which would be kind of strange considering that you know her well enough to like her.
i like "suki desu" because it's kinda polite and you're kinda placing them higher than you in that one moment. but it's all preference anyway, both your's and the girl's.
