They need someone that's actually good on Magnus if they need to draft that way. Saksa might also be the one to go, but whoever has been pushing for Shadow Shaman for the last few weeks is probably the person that needs to go. I'm not joking when NiP has problems beating Tier 3 CIS teams with Shaman. They don't play it right.

I think Ace is still "good enough". I think Fata is the biggest problem the team has. Not saying Fata is bad but I think there are better options out there.

Fata is world-class on Razor, but he got bodied by Sumail on a matchup he should have an advantage on. Ace has a small hero pool he's really good on, but basically all of them are niche picks in this patch. Last year Puppey leaned on Yapzor to carry a lot of games and it's kind of showing why. Not sure what the roster swap will look like, but I'd be really surprised if it's the same for the next Qualifiers. At the same time, NiP does nothing and they're still more than likely going to TI with a direct invite.

And obviously TL is there too but not sure how likely they are to change at this point.

I'm not joking when NiP has problems beating Tier 3 CIS teams with Shaman. They don't play it right. I know it might sound weird, but this team is made up of players that don't really play any "damage dealing" heroes with great proficiency at the pro level. FATA's known for his razors, trolls, SFs, Vipers, all with meka and tanky builds; Ace plays primarily illusion based and building siege heroes (the occasional Meepo not withstanding), and 33 plays tanks and team fighters. They just don't have any core player that specializes in heroes that do damage, and watching PPD try to draft around that is just not working very well. They had some moderate success with MinD_ControL because he took up the damage dealing role on that team while standing in and meshed well, but without that kind of player specialty around they are probably going to struggle. If I was them, I'd drop FATA for someone like Raven that can play heroes that output tons of damage. This would open up a ton of possibilities in their drafts in terms of hero compositions and counters and give PPD another lever to pull to make strategic adjustments while in draft.

Likely to make it to TI but unlikely to go that far. Alliance already confirmed they will be changing. And obviously TL is there too but not sure how likely they are to change at this point. I do think that a change along the lines of a trade of Mind_ControL to NIP for 33 might be decent for both parties based on what they seem to lack in their current drafting tool kit, but I think a lot of Liquid fans might not be ready for a move like that which takes a player that is probably more skilled and swaps him for another which offers Liquid greater flexibility in play styles. Hard to say.
