I guess they were afraid it'd get abused? but lose lane with silencer and you still have comeback potential. lose early game with Chen and be food all game fy just went 11/7/21 on a Phoenix. That was a series turning performance. OG's draft was fine, but fy outplayed his team into a good mid-game. You don't get those games often. pretty much every game fy got a play maker, he was fy god, shitty titan aside.

Let's get a game 5 in here cmon OG

Fy and Maybe are the 2 chinese players most deserving of a TI win.

It's been the Playmaker 4 tournament. The pos 4 with the best playmaking wins nearly all of the games. There's some Wisp combo wins, but Wisp + Gyro is still a hard one to win, with how nerfed Gyro is now.

Come on, OG. You got this.

Series has been surprisingly underwhelming relative to the rest of the tournament. Hope OG turns it on and we get a good win then a n epic nailbiting game 5

They've played their guts out in the upper bracket for it.

That happens for plenty of TI and tournaments in general. The best/most competitive games aren't always in the final
Take Liquid 3-0 Newbee for example lul
I'm pretty sure LGD will close this 3-1 though

I need to cheer for LGD so they lose. Im certain thats whats the problem here.
GO LGD, DO IT FOR CHINA

We've had some amazing games since Lower Bracket Round 3. Group Stage was some of the best Dota we've seen, on average, but those first rounds were pretty bad. Especially when we got to the really serious stuff, it's been some amazing dota.

VG vs Newbee was def not a final

LGD's strategy pool actually got quite screwed by the patch. Ame was an am/morph/slark/tb (and gyro) type carry for them traditionally while chalice was the initiator offlaner. You could see some difficulty because of it at the beginning of the tournament, it's really impressive how they've managed to adapt. Fy being a complete god all tournament helps of course.
|
OG need to get back into making the better decisions.
|
Mic'ing everyone up to make sure they can run out a documentary afterwards.
|
wow player have mics so we're probably getting another true sight

Technically, OG plays similarly too.
What's impressive is LGD manage to stay top 3 in multiple DPC tournaments with all those biweekly patches while other teams are getting screwed. Most patch resistant team in history of dota lol.
