They likely have a deep well of know how and talent for developing talented and successful competitors.

OTOH if RTZ hadn't tried to get as much farm as possible he never would have been a threat to the CK. People thought this was a sloppy game? Inevitable outcome of better competition. Better teams overall will make the top teams look worse overall.

Yours faithfully, me Hey pal, I've had a rough week too and an EG victory tonight would make everything much better. Cheers. You can have the EG win today if I get LGD tomorrow! I wish I could say "deal!" because that'd be nice... But I'd be lying XD. I want Sumail to be the first to win two TI's more than anything else in Dota.

I thought it was mostly pretty impressively tight; the only moment I thought was at all throw-y was EG giving the rapier back with that teamfight fuck-up.

It's very rare that my highest winrate first pick hero for pubs is also the first pick hero for TI, but Venge is Venge.

I thought the LGD-OG was significantly more sloppy than this game. Here you just had both teams playing to their draft's strengths, looking for openings but neither team giving any. I think if anyone wants to call a game sloppy this is one of the last ones to do so.

EG strategy just pick Willow 100% of the time.

Well, please stop calling these high tension games as "sloppy". Them being sloppy is bound to happen when you got everything on the line. The sloppiness is also giving us pure entertainment by watching them claw back from the mistakes they made.
Tommorow is gonna be one hell of a day.

EG picked spectre a lot group stage, not so much on the main stage.

What would make a hypothetical nerf on terrorize acceptable? I was thinking add a damage threshold once it's passed the fear is negated.

Tommorow is gonna be one hell of a day. There's definitely some sloppy plays (in a game this difficult it's unavoidable even at pro play), but as you said the term gets thrown around a bit too much. A lot of "sloppy" play is just the other team pulling off a good play with better positioning.

You had cores not using BKB, running off alone into high ground dying, teams just forcing fights randomly not playing around their timings, etc.
