I guess it allowed Abed to dominate mid though.

I think this game goes to fnatic unless there are some spectacular night stalker misplays

not leads by "stealing" kills, you gotta body them down idk imo: TI7 meta was rly nice to watch competitively (perhaps not so fun to play) there were very clear clean cut defined styles between teams (secret, liquid,NB,VP), all of them always their own hero sets but all of them somehow always had chance, the biggest contrast was when NB/other cn heavily rely on teamfights and comeback gold, very very contrasting heroes get picked, both sides not really wishing to "steal" picks, instead have their own.

They are promising, yes, but they are not even tier 1 according to me, let alone TI contender. They haven't done anything in any proper tournament that had all the top teams this whole season. Well, by the looks of things, its still not sure if Optic will even be there at TI.

Buyback changes really changed the way a lot of the game plays.

He provided EE freedom to farm more bottom, he pushed CCnC out of mid lane for several minutes, and DJ got a free top lane to get a min 8 lvl 6. Then when the first night ended, Universe could return top to farm the lane while DJ went bottom to make plays with his level 6. Blitz didn't really seem to notice what was happening at that moment Yes. That NS & Undying won Fnatic the lanes. I was tilting seeing Universe doing nuthin the first night time, but the harass on DP really paid off big-time.

A standard 2-1-2 would've let zai get level 2 much faster, opening up opportunities to pressure mid and bottom. 33 could've chosen to push the waves into the tower instead of pulling them through the river. But he had no leeway to lay his DoT onto Universe.

After that Fnatic had no chance really of contesting all the towers against Visage+Lesh, and Optic got deep wards down and the game was super hard to do anything in for Fnatic.
