Fnatic is going to shock everyone but especially Liquid, and Infamous is gonna pull a South America on Newbee. This will also be the beginning of EG's return to dominance. Then Fnatic and Infamous will lose two straight sets each first to VP and EG respectively and then again to Liquid and Newbee in the lower bracket.
But yea. VP is gonna crush this. Na'Vi goes nowhere with them.
two series at the same time, so yes - top half (VP Navi TL Fnatic) of the bracket on one stream, others on the 2nd stream. 4 series in one day is quite normal
My very own opinion of the weak point of each team Secret: Puppey Navi: Sonneiko Liquid: Matumbaman VP: Lil Newbee: Kaka Fnatic: EE & PLD EG: Arteezy Infamous: i dunno
Nahaz is so out of place, he thinks he's revealing a big secret "I watched a lot of drafts and PL does very well when the opponent does not have AoE", wow fucking genius! It's so obvious he does not even play the game casually.

Depends which EG & Secret show up. Liquid & VP should be favored, but they're beatable.
Secret has looked pretty good, but EG has looked meh. We will See. But how I see it, the left side has two favorites, VP/Liquid, one decent dark horse in Navi and one team that's happy to be here which is Fnatic. Right side has one favorite, Newbee, one dark horse in Secret, Infamous which is going to be wrecked, and EG which has looked meh.
Gg VP! Got their in the end, seems they really struggle vs NAVI though which is nice for NAVI. I can't call Liquid vs VP though, especially after the last major.

Don't know about you but "fond nostalgia" is not what i would call it right now.

I guess it should but considering the semifinal teams are the top4 in dota right now i don't know if it makes a big difference.

I only joined the game pretty late but seemed like the last rosh Fnatic gave away because all their buybacks were on cd whereas NaVi had most of theirs, and it's far easier for Fnatic to hold base with Sniper than to fight next to rosh. Though if I recall correctly they only slightly missed the rosh spawn before they left the pit area so maybe they could have taken it if they saw when it spawned.
I didn't see the earlier roshes but in general it's not easy for Fnatic's lineup to challenge roshes against tombstone, chrono, etc. when behind.
And they did indeed manage to hold the base but then lost that last fight outside the base when the Void barely got saved and managed to turn it around

Nah it was fine, VP were rock solid but liquid could have snowballed or take rax with a single decisive fight after min25.
Thogh I agree the meta seems to favor drafts with at least one hard agi carry.
Tiny fell of hard in the midgame. Also if he runs out of tree charges, he is garbage. I like matu Lycan much more, thats a hero with which he can do stuff. Much better draft from Liquid.

Don't want to be a dick but...
More proof that the hippies are wrong. I put all this energy out into the universe and look what I have to show for it?
Yeah what is carry slarder in this farm heavy patch it seems lol. Oh well, Pasha getting triple kill mid is enough to fall back on as his job is to kill the wisp every fight i guess.
Feels like Tiny was in a much better place pre-MS/Armor change to Grow. Armor could be built easily, and his lane power, with his zoomy speedy, made him a strong mid-game hero who could make things happen.
It isn't really useful to talk about Slardar as "pos1" or "carry" and compare it to other carries when they have DP and Weaver as their other two cores. The Slardar is still their initiator like he would be in any other position, he is just more farmed than usual and isn't just going to fall over after going in and can create a lot of room for Weaver and DP to do their damage from range.

Yeah i think people get that, i know i do, i just don't know why Pasha couldn't do that and Ramzes being on that hero instead of the weaver makes any sense at all

I missed most of the early game but I'd guess it's just a laning thing and they prefer Pasha playing the Weaver when it's thrown on the offlane and they felt giving the Slardar a good start was more valuable. Or who did VP help in the laning stage?
To be fair Pasha was fucked on laning, he was offlane and wasn't having good time. Solo sat mid with DP and Salrdar NS safelane. Then Pasha couldn't do anything offlane. He came mid though and got triple kill at minute 10 or something. He had 8cs 3 kills and was level 4 xD
I dont really like a tiny without bkb. Knowing the new resist stat for strength heroes and the bonus from tiny's ulti do the help. But you cant ignore BKB when they have tons of disable skills. If you dont like BKB at least Manta!

As far as the South American teams that "made it" go, Infamous are easily the weakest. SG have shown more signs of brilliance and I'm hoping to see some more promise from Sacred where the majority of the TI Infamous wound up.
