Scamcret will surprise this tournament, they're focused and on fire. Midone is top 5 players in the world right now and Puppey decided to play serious doto again, won't be surprised if they get top 3

Yeah but i still want the eliminate half the teams from group stages full round robin from TI4 though
but this is the best so far .. ALOT better than that damn GSL groups format

They looked really good until other teams realized they were hilariously one dimensional with like 2-3 required hero picks. Not to say that predicting an iG win isn't premature. I don't think they were one dimensional when it comes to picks though they did have one single style but it took forever before somebody in TI5 figured them out. They were insanely strong though even if they used one style they were still winning with it confidently (had like 4 tournament wins after DAC and they played the same as DAC) but they were bound to be figured out. If I'm remembering TI5 correctly, they kept trying to force SF, which was a terrible hero at the time. And I think Gyro was banned or counter-picked every time.

this format will be much more hyped if the ones with worst result are eliminated or at least have to do double elim bo1 for punishment

More accurate seeding more hype in games. My only issue is that pre-tournament seeding should carry into later rounds so you dont get IG vs OG on round 2
but in return we got one of the most hype match in dota :D

So it probably has the same effect when you duel AM where AM duels you too. So he probably pulls himself into CW wut, clockwerk hook isnt blocked by linkens, therefore it isnt reflected by lotus orb or am aghs either

This format also has less games with no need for tiebreakers. It's a really good group format

Well we've seen puppey draft even with the w33ha/misery roster. I rarely see him act reactionary during drafting even if it means they'll get rekt (which happens alot)

Is Treant really better than MK or ES
edit: Treant and NP, EG going for the greenpeace lineup

There was never a consensus on Midas.
I fall into the camp the XP change was an overall nerf but I do recall a significant number trying to argue the Midas gold gain is subtly an overall gain.
