Also, I think Wings doesn't have any experience against this type of play from Newbee. | ||

Newbee does run push-strats, but their thing is normally really aggressive early rotations (3-5 minutes), then a really defensive mid-game built upon that early lead. Wings 1st banned Lion all 5 games for a reason, as it's Newbee's best hero. But the reason Wings' meme-push has done so well for them lately is most of China has had to work to beat LGD & Newbee. The way to do that is to hit a peak early without needing hard snowball heroes. Which is actually what Newbee did to Wings in Game 5. (Dazzle + Wisp is online by 8ish minutes; at 15 minutes, Huskar can take Rax if allowed. Drow was probably as much of a feint as core to the strategy. Though credit to Hao for turning Drow into a Weaver counter. Never seen that work well before.) | ||

I looked at the ticket sales added to prize money, missing EG Secret, no arena and the whole tournament appears more like a joke to the uneducated. | ||
