Issue is patch is really not what EG likes to do and play , its a 5 man push meta right now , Liquid runs it amazingly , they also have great play making supports which you really love if you play 5 man , so while Jerax can make plays and turn around fights , PPD for example cannot , picking BH into liquid isnt a good idea as well because they 5 man push so much its crazy. | ||

How a certain role performs is heavily reliant on others' performance as well. Misplays can be caused by your team mates not allowing you enough time or space to execute properly. Supports not warding at a proper place to provide sufficient vision for the initiator to do their job might eventually cause the carry to act instinctively and engage on a wrong target. Now if the carry ends up dying, most people blame the carry for wrong choice of target, but not knowing that based on the information he has at the point of execution, it is the only option. Now if that happens 5 times in a row, everyone would say that carry is subpar and doesn't know what he's doing. But no one questions why the shot caller decides to engage with insufficient vision in all those fights. I'm not defending Aui or anyone in particular, just that core positions generally got bashed more frequently when things go wrong simply on the assumption that they should have performed better because they had more farm. What they could do with their lineup definitely felt pretty limited after a point with the way they played it; the damage output was low and they were getting crushed by AA. Sumail had the highest hero damage on his team through the game but that came at the cost of spending all his mana very early in a fight and then having to run away and most likely dying. PPD felt pretty low-impact throughout, especially compared to Kuroky. The tactic of glimpsing someone into duel & then using chrono on liquid when they came to help their duelled teammate didn't really work if they didn't catch the AA. Like that fight at rosh at 17 min: aui duels fata who is coming towards him, then bloblo with the beautiful chrono catching 4 Liquid heroes, including the DK, but leaving the LC out of the bubble so she can complete her duel. But they still lose the fight. PPD throws out a subpar field/ulti before the chrono instead of keeping the ult for the chrono, sumail was already at 1/3 mana from harassing the rosh attempt and after balling in and 2-3 right-clicks he has nothing left. And the 1 Liquid hero blubi doesn't catch in the chrono is AA, and Kuroky on point as usual with the blast catches not only void and LC, but also the storm who actually balls into the blast lol. So all that investment from EG only nets them 1 kill and 14 duel damage, and then they have to run away from a mad Lycan determined to avenge his fallen DK, and they lose 3. Meanwhile fear is sitting around throwing out tracks and that's it; since he's afraid of sentries he's not even in position to give vision over the AA. So while the biggest misplay of that fight is arguably duelling the DK, it's not like EG was in a position to catch anyone else with the way they had positioned themselves in the area. Game was already hard at that point, after dying too much earlier and not getting favorable trades. But they had to make those attempts earlier on or lycan would just roll them. That's where they got outplayed the most really (and I don't like aui going drums instead of straight blink, ended up having to run after people), after that it was only going to get worse. | ||

Secret is gonna roll over [A] AND Newbee and redeem themselves. Then all the posts will just be flaming Alliance and saying Newbee win streak was overrated cuz all they did was stomp tier 5 chinese teams. | ||
