much more solid then c9, besides grand finals.

But literally c9 during finals.

Newbee is showing some untapped ressources, let's hope liquid can take the next game and I will be fine with whoever wins.

kpii gets a great block bottom with his tidehunter.
beastmaster has 68 damage at level one and easily chops down doom on the side of liquid. doom does disrupt the first easy level of bm while leveling scorched earth but he is sitting on low regen and his rotations are now quite limited to camping runes and peeking mid-tower, very obviously.

DP has been forced into missing creeps and puck is getting help from said doom.
3 minutes in, looking back at beastmaster jungling, he is scaling quite quickly at level 4, harking back to moon's performance some games ago.

at top lane, hao on juggernaut is getting good sidepulls and lifestealer is forced into the doom's role of camping top rune and soaking side pulls against juggernaut and lion.

for liquid's safelane, they are able to dive with lonedruid + rubick + doom and successfully get a kill on tidehunter with the help some rng, marking the death of that tower for the side of liquid.

it is now 7 minutes in, lone druid continues to outpace the juggernaut.
the first roar on screen ends up in a death for doom + puck for beastmaster's life. this happens at the highground of middle lane,

lifestealer is sitting on 2.3k networth, the same as a doom with quite some space to jungle and use devour on cooldown. the creepwaves top are not easy to contest as they are against juggernaut and lion is camping top as well.

midlane they engage on puck who dies slowly and claims beastmaster with him. tidehunter shows up and hits at least 3 with ravage and seconds later, a healthy deathprophet cleans up as liquid quickly tires to retreat and inevitably loses 4.

with the ultimates down, liquid moves middle again, newbee roars LD and kills him, barely keeping beastmaster alive again and lion dies despite the easy pickoff as liquid slowly trickles in.

13:30:
beastmaster greedily jungles and dies to a spellsteal from rubick and together with the stolen boar spell gets an easy solo kill, leading the rest of newbee on a wild goosechase for a good 10 seconds before getting zapped beyond death with nothing but a finger. newbee uses this opportunity (as DP ulti is up) to take a quick roshan and sweep through midlane to take a tower and a kill.

fata on puck has managed to pressure bottom t2 to half health but tps quickly to base because liquid themselves are being pressured at their middle t2.
lonedruid now has a full radiance tat 16:30.

tidehunter has made the mekanism for the team.

awkward engagement at radiant jungle involving DP, bm, and tidehunter.
dp is half health and doomed,
ravage used to buy space
stolen ravage!
beastmaster's life is claimed, but that is the only casualty as dp has a completed euls and survives long enough to walk away. her progression will lead her from euls to a full octarine this game.

4 concurrent tps at bottom to punish the t2 death at bottom, kaka gets tower and tps out in time!
shortly after at top, prophet is assassinated by 4 at the srecret shop despite a ward positioned at ancients. it's a bloodbath as they send lifestealer back to fountain and claim the t1.

liquid is pressuring mid tower at the same time but it is only kuro and newbee react in time to punish this attempt by tping away from top.

juggernaut now shifts his focus to radiant jungle that has an aggressive ward in place. he however, does not have omni up yet.
liquid smokes 5, but it gets sniffed and is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. juggernaut meanwhile has been farming the waves bottom until they reach past t2 area and tps back to his own jungle to continue farming, now leading the networth, 23minutes in.

the epicenter crowd starts chanting, ir ecall the casters losing their shit from all the way from the english casting desk for puck claiming an early boar kill at the start of the game.

i don't even know who has a crimsonguard on liquid but the red rings do not persist through the entirety of the fight that breaks out bottom and again, newbee comes out on top and claims roshan. time efficiency. newbee in this game should be ahead by about 10k in networth with chuan being the poorest on lion. he should be happy with his blink and levels however.

newbee moves middle and it break out quite messily. not all ults were expended but at the end of it, liquid is able to claim DP's life at the cost of one.

all heroes are now up on the side of newbee and they lead in hao on juggernaut and with the recent pickoff of LD nothing can push him back. DP now uses her ulti as t3 falls.
newbee heroes dive as they did in their 2nd spectre game against OG, obviously feeling it at this point.

let's look back at the lineup of liquid.
it's doom, puck, rubick, lifestealer, and lone druid.
it seems as though their only damage comes from the bear surviving puck is able to hit all his spells with lifestealer or similar are tanking important teamfight spells coming from newbee's side.

newbee at 30:30 immediately smoke to their creepwave at mid. they understand that one kill will immediately result into a rax. meanwhile teamliquid has grouped as 5 top, only lifestealer is left there as they lose an entire set of rax without the bear to be able to contest.

the game looks close to an end as LD loses his life, dead in he grave for a full minute, as well as lifestealer shortly afterwards.

liquid gg's out as there's too much fighting ability from newbee's heroes.
it seems as though newbee's cores this game, as they had played alchemist in the previous one, were able to farm very well on mu as well as hao and their supports rotated near-perfectly to ensure their holes were filled.

i hope liquid adjusts their overall gameplan to account for newbee's defensive set-play

Chuan is MVP of the tournament. Regardless of what happens in the last 1-2 games.

And Newbee is going to have all of their drafting advantages blown up by next week.

Maybe it would have worked if they actually invested more than just him in the offlane.
