Not really. Has Bulba realaly done anything that bad during tournament? I'm pretty certain if Uni was still playing it would of looked the same. Meanwhile, Universe is playing like dog trash at the moment.

Honestly i think it wouldn't matter if it was Universe or Bulba on either team they both seem to have deeper problems based around that they don't seem to know how to play this fucking patch

PPD is an angry guy who controls his players. RTZ and Universe aren't used to not being controlled anymore. Bulba and Aui aren't used to being controlled yet. It will normalize.

ugh, i don't know about that. yea they look great against random na teams but that doesn't mean much vs international competition. moo especially seems to have a rough time pretty much every game even against those teams. maybe i'm downplaying them and they'll do good but i really don't think their officials so far mean much.

Yeah. Like, aui makes some dubious plays and mistakes--that morph death was pretty bad in game 1, but at that point 10 min in the game col was already just barrelling down bot as 5, with an LD with midas and 1500 gold, and no movements from EG. They're losing to push strats, like against liquid. EG seems to let too much slip through in the drafting phase, and then in-game they aren't able to do enough early, cause their supports aren't doing enough and sumail gives away too many deaths, as if he can still get some recovery farm in the jungle like in the good old days. Meahwhile a team like liquid has JERAX GOD.

Yeah, ppd didn't adjust to this tournament well. (Granted, against TL, I thought they had the better drafts both games, until the AA hard-countered them.) I only caught the last half of Game 2, but the tournament has gone for this early-moving, tanky & sustain approach (because of Newbee). ppd just doesn't really want to draft that way. Though maybe he's running into a comfortable hero pool issue with Aui at the moment and his options will improve over time.
Though, honestly, I was expecting a lot of wonky drafts from both teams, since I'm sure they scrim against each other occasionally. Inter-team Metas do develop, which probably explains the Dark Seer ban.

Perhaps people will realize that PPD isn't a draft god, which has been apparently for I don't know how long, but gets all his ideas from others.

This patch sucks. Beastmaster once again just farms the jungle like a madman, Armlet str.carries are back in full force with heavy push strats. It's like TI4 but with longer games.
