wow. that's really interesting, i was expecting like a weird chen pick or something, a mek carrier, and they choose a tree to extend their lane's lifetime against gryo/lesh/ES and perhaps setup for a sick invoker combo.

in my opinion i think that means they're relying on doom and invoker a lot.
obviously on lion to do quite a lot for them early as well.

in Secret's game, they've managed to pull even after a bad start, now it's up to envy to find enough farm between the multiple midgame fights and RTZ to farm up a dagger/ogre club for BKB.

it'll be around 3 minutes and both envy and rtz will have their items and in that same time empire will probably look to see any movements before they take a fight. not many items coming online for empire except for darkseer

with the way they've been playing with dazzle up top and envy farming bouncing between the lane and jungle, it's not too expected.
it's a way that some teams test for wards and look to set up in the enemy jungle.

envy went drums first? or after a brownboots naked radiance? that's also an indicator that they feel pressured that they need to be able to fight with OD. now that OD has 'W' with blink though it's even more difficult when it was the dazzle + wisp to sit behind him.
