Genuinely curious. There was a 90mins pause at the start of the game between VG and TS iirc. We were literally looking at a pause screen for most of it. Lots of other issues too. | ||

sheever is a good host, no doubt about it. but i feel like she isnt as good in just killing time in an entertaining way as 2gd. so when things go right, sheever is a solid host but if things hit the fan, like they did here, you really want someone who can cover a few hours of unscheduled idle time with something fun. i enjoyed the panel this tournament a lot and with all the downtimes we had a lot of panel time. | ||

Is it true that he was let go after day 1? Don't get me wrong, as I said I like Sheever. She does an actually good job as a host nowadays, but she offers something very different from what 2GD does. They're pretty much the polar opposites of one another in terms of what they offer, actually. 2GD gives you the very fun and uncontrolled banter, Sheever gives you the most professional host you can get. I personally much prefer what 2GD offers though, and I think it brings more to the table. I'm not sure when exactly he was let go since I was asleep when it happened.
