Game 2 EG did what they needed to early game and moon says "they threw" but it looked more like they just didnt do enough damage in the game when they were ahead. G2 EG made some really questionable moves that set them back against Silencer. I don't think it was a throw, but they didn't give that hero any of the respect he deserved. They were never ahead as far as they needed to be ahead, and then got way too chicken when they were behind and had no opportunity to force through a win by luck. It wasn't one of their brighter games.

That game could have easily been thrown away by going radiance manta alchemist. Agreed, they got some fucking great fighting+pushing items and came online all at the same time. I don't know if that was planned or whether they figured it out ingame, but they basically hit the best possible timing window they could have. The only serious teamfight/push item they were missing was Mek, but with infinite HP Sumail on the front lines, that wasn't a problem.

I'd say they probably saw silencer rushing midas and ES rushing BoT's and itemized accordingly to hit that unstoppable timing window. That's the difference between teams who understand how to win and teams that don't though, knowing when a competitive match can be ended and capitalizing on it. I'd say EG just gave us a great example of how to do that just now.
