It was the lanes really, which is a product of the whole draft and not Huskar in particular. Axe deals with brood and for whatever reason they had a random NS running around mid poking qop once or twice. If NS was a strong lane supp they can fight 3v3 top, or at least split farm, as opposed to gyro getting 5 times Huskars CS or something. Saccing Huskar with Dazzle going bot was questionable too, Huskar doesnt fight well from behind.

Maybe a lane switch with dazzle+huskar going bot or something might have worked better, but then you also have to buy 3 TPs.

In general I don't think super is a good drafter the way puppey is, he doesn't know how to rely on his team's strength WHILE finding the right counters / match ups. Go back a few patches with black on their team, they had much more strategy and team flexibility.

undying is not a great hero these days with the tombstone nerf, getting soul rip on lvl 2 is just sad.

Im guessing the idea behind that draft was that LGD would spend more time countering the brood allowing huskar to get some decent farm and they can roll mid game. Too bad they just dodged the lane and the brood didn't do enough with all that space.

Which makes it a laning problem. If you pick a safelane carry with the purpose of "getting whatever small amount of farm you can from your safelane" then you have laning issues. Yes someone else couldve got 10 instead of 5 CS, which wouldnt have changed the game one bit.

The way bigger issue was the NS. He was barely on screen first 10min, have no idea what he did. I assume he kept running around mid since we never got to see what he was doing. But he certainly wasnt hampering qop farm more than very marginally.

And btw Huskar vs Gyro is super Huskar favored if game goes on. Gyro is so much magic and spread damage he cant deal with an equally farmed Huskar. You need straight high single physical damage. Gyro has a lot of things, but not that. Huskar might or might not have worked either way in the grand scheme of things, but hes great against Gyro.
