I mean, even though they did not play that well in wild cards, but come on, they ended up losing to teams that suddenly got top 8 and top 2 at TI5.

Well, they won 1 game against CDEC, they didn't that bad, they choked last game vs MVP but they were kinda unlucky with the wildcards

this isn't a major in the CSGO sense, it's just a large tournament

Yeah, I'm guessing it's due to travel costs. I mean, there aren't that many big and established Dota 2 teams out there. There are certainly more teams that would be willing to go, but the question is whether you find it worthwhile to host them.

To me all these tournaments with only a handful of teams in them seem a bit poor, but I suppose it's an accurate reflection of the depth of the scene.

I find it's much more exciting to have groups plays and at least 32 teams. Then there's a much bigger chance of a dark horse between those teams
I am not sure what to say

Ya, their real opportunity in terms of quality opposition probably came in EU quals where they could've beaten Navi

to be fair there's a note on the bottom saying that it's an editorial and doesn't necessarily reflect the position of the team

:'(

So did Team Secret deserve the invite and was the invite justified? Every individual could give a different answer to that question but some facts can't be ignored. They got their invite just because of their name not because of good recent results,

I laughed at this btw, ironic that its coming from NaVi.

Dark Seer + Spectre is a good combination since it's unrealistic to deny both of their farm in lane.

It's a shame that C9 is going to lose this game because Bloodseeker completely counters their whole team when Ritsu is going an actually tolerable Slark item build .

Edit: Oh my god Pain might actually lose

C9 is reminding me of EG/Secret in a way......you thought for sure they're dead but they keep finding pick offs and teamfights even when behind in rax/gold/exp

that or Pain is playing like shit

I think this is actually A2G 9C, not C9 G2A. They seem to do the exact opposite of what C9 G2A would do every game.

Pain seem to be a group of really good pub players who don't quite understand how to win vs another professional team with more experience than them.
