I meant GB win but you win.

EDIT: Considering how GB were executing in game 1 despite such a good start with relatively even draft, they are doomed, they got hard to play hero in it.

Well, it's good to speak clearly

I find it a strange statement, though, since you're basically saying "Golden Boys would have won if they played better", which could be said for the loser of any match. Did you mean to say "5Jungz played terrible, but Golden Boys played even worse"?

I didn't watch the match (just five minutes of it), but I'm really hoping that 5Jungz will perform well as a team, since I'm hopeful about their prospects. Golden Boys seem like a really solid team, putting in many good performances before their most recent roster change, so it would surprise me if they played awfully.

I meant to say that GB were laning and farming absolutely fine (ok, maybe they sacced DS a tad bit too much), but they were fighting like they first time saw each over yet somehow all have muted each other, that's how bad their communication in those fights was. To understand how it went down: at 9 minutes, both AM and Lina were approaching 5k while Gyro/Storm were barely breaking 8k together.

I had the same impression and it's super weird, because 3/5 of Golden Boys have been together for over a year and the fourth was officially added months ago, while 5Jungz were assembled a week ago max.

Thank you for the elaboration. Makes sense. I'd say that if it's just a decent advantage from laning phase, saying it "would be a win" is still a bit of a jump. Unless 5Jungz also executed the teamfights badly, giving some easy openings for Golden Boys, that is.

I would not even say it decent, it was pretty damn strong advantage from laning phase, until GB started giving up easy kills. Jungz did not exactly did anything bad, they did what they were expected to do and did it fine.

EDIT: And now GB did not even get anything out of lanes. GG no re.

I agree with that. I thought it was going to be an easy win for Golden Boys but they got out played super hard in the important team fights.

Really nice start for KKY stack, GB was the strongest team coming from the open qualifiers. They probably have a good chance to beat empire

Welp that's disappointing.

Hope they can recover, I really like ex-LC as a team.

On the other side, Kuro's stack played pretty well. Maybe they'll be able to give Empire a good series. Any speculation on who Empire's 5 is gonna be? Whose even left in CIS scene, Artstyle?

Ironically it looks like the only somewhat known 5 position left available is AWF they kicked :D

They aren't overrated, they are a pretty good team. They're 18-12-1 (including TI5 quals) in series since May 2015 with victories over teams like EG and Na'Vi in that span, that's a pretty solid run for a team that was decidedly average before that.

As far as I'm concerned they are the new carries of the spirit of 4ASC before this recent roster shake up.
