Ehome, CDEC, LGD, VG, IG, and Newbee are the top Chinese teams and no one thought IG was behind Ehome and CDEC before this tournament. Are you sure? I don't follow the Chinese DotA scene that much but people I know who do say that iG was just overhyped because of Burning. The list given before the tournament had: LGD > VG > IG > Ehome > Newbee > CDEC
Then you hasn't been watching the chinese scene... CDEC was actually rocking in several finals. They didn't win one though.

Ice3 was in the same room and they were just hanging out.

I don't think they were overhyped. They still played well at the LANS like red bull. Going in, their betting odds put them on par with LGD, and slightly behind VG. Sure, they might not have performed here, but one tournament doesn't mean they're trash - even if it's TI.

Betting site odds put it (before TI):
VG > LGD > iG > Newbee = Ehome > CDEC.
Statistics don't lie.

If you like a player or team you like a player or team. Korea vs. the world made even less sense, since we wouldn't even have much SC being played at this level without the Koreans. It's just fun to have a home team to root for. As someone from England. I disagree completely. Well played. But you still root for them? I guess when it's not fun your brain convinces you it is. In England we draw from a hat and root for whatever team we get. England is not allowed to be in the hat. Only disappointment comes from supporting England in anything. Oh please. You guys have it easy

The problem was that even if he had BKB, once he gets caught by a stun without a Q, he's dead to the burst. VG had a lot of burst to deal with single pick offs if he was even slightly out of position.

You gotta bkb on cores vs Clock with blademail.
Skadi first was fine but then he had to get BKB.
