Arguably, decision making is a very broad term and itemization falls under it.
And how hard is it not to die as AM against a lineup that does not have enough lockdown?

Manta does not cost 2300 gold and at least the threat is there. Instead col now has to rely on miracle to kill Fear. Without vlads manta has a similar timing to the orchid from clinkz. Fear had 16 minute bf. Honestly, if clinkz just went treads-sr-orchid, he would still do fine in Fear hunting while having same timing of orchid as fear had timing of bf. Then they dont get the early rosh and are in a worse position anyways. Also his farm was also delayed by the hard lane he got.
Medallion is not requirement for rosh, they would still get it even without that.
