I dunno. The gutting of the market and item drop systems make me a little skeptical. The battle booster was a big part of the TI4 compendium sales I think. Maybe Valve will find a way. Like "compendium makes you get an item every time you level up" or sometimes equally as absurdly money-grubbing.
The DAC compendium did insanely well despite not having any sort of battle booster. They'll come up with more hats for people to dump their money on for TI.

Yeah, VG did try playing with a core black doom against (can't remember whom), with a BB in their line-up. Getting up to Aghs doom takes too long though, not sure it will suffice against a team like Secret.. think an outright ban here is the way to go, unless there are hero combinations that will destroy BB .. I cant think of any.

Silences actually work well. BB thrives off of getting into the thick of things and getting multiple quill sprays off on his opponents. If he can't do that, you can ignore him and leave him for last.

Secret is just a better team right now because of their players. if you think about the shuffle, Secret benefits better than EG coz they got 2 experienced players and teammate at the same time. you cannot say the same thing with EG. hopefully they become great rival in the future and give us great games.
