How does their lineup have nothing to do with it? They had that huge early lead but the strat is so fragile that all it took was a few mistakes and they couldn't even attempt to fight navi, even while even or ahead in gold.

oh come on, give credits where its due, its really that so hard ?

everyone knows NaVi will lose against super top teams (unless something happens, you never know), but they have been much better lately, they are actually working together and they have beating some pretty good teams overall

C9 proved multiple times that can win with drow lineup as long as they play better .. they didn't

also LGD vs EG .,. check it out still a drow lineup

They're looking likely to make top 12 or better at the "mini-International" when so many are calling them completely terrible.

I saw them making it to the main event but I don't see them going far once we get to bracket stage.

I mean, consistently someone Navi plays mediocre to bad but that is rather untrue.

they are improving but whatever happened to the DAC qualifier empire should have been the one playing the wildcard. They are the much more solid team(best team of europe imo excluding secret). I even have more faith on NIP than na'vi tbh.

To be fair Navi played absolutely horrible on day 1...it really looked like it was going to be a total route. The fact that they picked it up today is good though. Gives some fans some hope.

What do you mean by "making it deep"? Making top 8 is still WAY better than what many people predicted Na'Vi could achieve. They're being called a tier 2 team all the time, etc.

Lan is not the same thing as online. Na'Vi has this level up when they're on lan.

I don't think that from this c9 game, you can give too much credit to navi. c9 played so comically bad in the middle game it's like saying that Hao died to the warlock golem 1v1 because March had incredible skill. They are winning but the method in which they are doing so leaves a lot to be desired.

You know only 2 teams can place in the top 2, doesn't mean every other teams are bad or something. A top 8 would definitely be really good for navi, and actually for a lot of teams.

yet NaVi took the oportunities that c9 gave them.

a lot of teams can throw, but its up to the other team to take advantage of that too

that's the old na'vi

i'll be honest i don't think they will .. for the past few months the only time they ran deep was when the big 3 of the west didn't participate and any of the chinese top teams wasn't present.

This is a tournament where all of the best teams in china are in. And also the super hyped secret and the surprisingly dominating EG. Compare to the level of the top chinese dogs that is not named newbee(lol although if it's a b03 series na'vi won't do shit) and EG/Secret (sorry C9 pick up your game). They ain't doing shit. I doubt they'd win a series against the arguably weaker chinese team like BG.

WTF is going on in this group stage lol.
NaVi losing to teams I expected them to win, today they win vs CDEC, EHOME and C9 lol
This one giant group stage is weird.

CDEC attempting target bans against Secret...RTZ still got Lycan and they still got Venge ... and Visage...but uh we'll see CDEC.
