I kinda disagree with that, EG took a small lead back by having better coordination leading up to fights, but it's still a team with a Chen and Axe / Brew / Slark are hardly stronger late than Jugger + Viper + Troll, and then you've got a Silencer with a midas who can be a huge game changer in itself..

so I didn't really follow the dota scene and the meta the last months... can anyone explain to me why Dazzle seems to be a solid pick currently ? Did they change the hero ? Or is it the meta?

Ember spirit was balanced by him having one of the worst midgame power dips, slark never really has such.

That was a awful fight by mvp. They have a ton of potential and are getting better and better, but their late game decision making is still pretty poor.
