I think that Era had too little impact for most of the game. His split pushing wasn't that effective and if he were with the team in a couple of those earlier teamfights they would go completely the other way, stemming BBC's momentum and turning it into Lajon's favor.

Radiance terrorblade doesn't push towers or teamfight effectively compared to manta/skadi/bkb terrorblade. Sure, it lets him farm fast, but so does casual stats (yasha + agi treads + 1-2 wraith bands).... I don't understand why pros build that item ever on that hero.

The three players from Zephyr's lineup had connection issues, so they had to get three extra standins. Two of them were Chrissy and Cast, who have to play for Rave in WePlay right now.

The Rave stand-ins had to go, but supposedly the reason they needed stand-ins in the first place is because most of Zephyr couldn't connect. Source on that seems to be off-hand comment from caster and/or Twitch chat though? Not sure about reliability.

They have a contract stating they have to finish off the last season of KDL, which is probably why they're not "stepping back" from the competitive scene.
As for this game, three of their players were unable to connect so they got stand ins. Two of them had to leave for their own team's game. You can hardly blame Zephyr for that.

It's what I gathered from the caster at the start, anyway. I might have misheard, but I don't see any other reason for them to be missing.

If the reason is that they played with 4 stand-ins in the first place (someone in twitch chat said that). they should have awarded the win to MITH before the game even began.

Admins telling the casters to leave before making decissions @MiTH vs Zephyr
If you decide that 2 players leaving is too much to continue (there is no gold advantage in tournament mode), then do so immediatly and not after 10 minutes of Zephyr beating them 3v5...
Teams forfeiting because they can't plan ahead at all...at this rate i start to regret that i bought the ticket at all..hopefully the can handle the other regions better..so far the online stage matches are a shame (but we are just one day in, so let's hope SEA is not a sign of things to come)

I'm constantly surprised by how well KPG do with the brawler AM. I did not see them coming back from their laning stage.

Can someone tell me what the lanes were? Because I can't really fathom how you play medusa together with AM.

Navi pretty much kept throwing all their advantages away and do equal or less than equal trades

safelane AM, offlane medusa, veno mid. none of their lanes did well
