Alliance vs Cloud 9 game 3 is being played on LAN. As such only the Chinese broadcasters at the event can stream the games. BTS and Starladder has chosen to stop streaming as they could not get the Chinese stream to work smoothly. Chinese stream: http://www.liquiddota.com/stream/9704 |

why are casters arguing to admins about audience needs? how frustrating it must be for both alliance and c9. wca, get your shit together. Well, a Bo3 just turned into a Bo1. Viewers are pretty important. It's still bullshit to complain about it as a caster, but it's sorta comparable to having a faulty product. yeah, i mean the casters should know that if they restart a bo3, who knows if another disconnect will happen, and it can keep going on and on. at some point, sacrifice is needed. the 2 teams that are playing must be mentally exhausted with what's going on currently. Kinda feel bad for c9 having to play for so extremely long. Three series in a row is not something anyone would enjoy. They're pros.. They need to play whatever is demanded by tourneys and do their best. There's no sense in complaining they'd just be draining themselves even more "they're pros" this excuse is so over used. there is a point where the playing conditions is not acceptable and just because "they're pros" doesnt mean they have to accept whatever shit conditions the organizers give them. Ever saw tennis champions complaining because they have to play like 6 hour and more games?. If games require you to play, you play. If you have complaints you do those AFTER tourney is over and hope things are better next time
Actually yeah, I've seen real sports players complain about unhealthy playing conditions all the time.

its not even close to the same thing. how do you compare 2 tennis players who plays long because they're evenly matched (no outside factors) vs 2 teams who is lagging out because the conditions (servers) are shit? (or that the event is constantly delayed because of it and then they have to stay up longer)

C9 saving us a lot of trouble with Naga ban.

If you have complaints you do those AFTER tourney is over and hope things are better next time idk why this tennis comparison is being argued over.. that sport has very specific and clear rules. if the game doesn't finish because it gets dark or bad weather it's postponed and resumed. also there's much less variables that can come into play, no internet, no ddos, no faulty hardware, etc

It's actually because tournament rules don't allow a better tiebreaker system. Other rule sets don't allow matches to be that long.
And yes they complain AFTER the tournament is settled. In game you just play till the end.

tennis training regimen is totally unrelated to professional dota 2 gaming.
maybe if you use chess players as an example, then it would be closely related and would make more sense.

Pretty bullshit to go to just bo1
They should have just rescheduled to tomorrow morning (Chinatime) or something
And bring that first game to a finish

rubick that early is weird cause c9 will probably just target ban the shit out of loda's remaining heroes. allaince struggles a lot if loda doesnt get a good carry.
