For me TI3 was waay better Not Valve's fault. Blame Alliance/Navi/C9/EG/DK/iG/Mouz for not being in the finals S:
It's kind of sad when TI3 finals were just as awful but had one hyped game and suddenly everyone talks about how amazing it was. Proof that it's about the people playing not at all about the quality of the games.

So based on earnings now, 5 members of Newbee (I bet most people have never heard of or could relate to) will surpass Jaedong and MC for the lead in e-sports earnings... is that right? I read this somewhere yesterday

It's a well deserved victory for newbee though, they are the strongest team.
Newbee had 0 experience vs EG and pretty much stomped them. Xiao8 is one of the best captains/drafters in China still.

So, am I the only one who thinks this was a tiny bit anticlimatic? The whole series I mean.

I'm just glad that the members of Tongfu got redemption for last year's fountain hook shenanigans. That was total bullshit.

NewBee is 4 members of Tongfu from last year + Xiao8. Yet I never see this mentioned at this event.
