I cheer against EG for pretty much exactly those reasons (except I don't actually know ppd's hon past). At the end of the day though, they're just excuses to let me dislike a team I want to dislike. Feeling strongly about teams (either way) makes it a lot more fun to watch, especially since unlike Sc2, I don't understand Dota well enough to watch it simply for the beauty of good play. tl;dr Fuck EG, go DK. | ||

I like them enough to cheer for them over western teams, but I prefer iG and newbee to win. | ||

The majority of the cries of 'racism/xenophobia' has been concentrated in Western discussion forums. Pretty sure the two sets of fans 'hate' each other because they see the other team as their greatest threat - the xenophobia thing blown over a long time ago in China, and both sets of fans are quite civil with each other (except of course some DK fanatics, but even those are denounced by DK fans). | ||
