Also it showcased the capabilities of EG, coL showing that they are more than capable of taking games of top chinese teams. Personally, I see nothing wrong with one team staying on top constantly. It just means that the players in it are great and they can keep up with metagame changes and what not. And it's also a great boost for all the lower teams, which see that standard stuff doesn't work against this team any more and they invent something new and so on and on.

I love this tournament, I really wouldn't care who won at this point because we've seen such great games but the format present is actually unfair, you can blatantly see where and why it's unfair. One team get's penalized for winning, losing their second life, that's markedly unfair. IMO the extra games and pressure the other team has to endure plus the rest Na'Vi is getting is more than enough advantage, a 1 game advantage is huge and detracts from the GF experience Valve knows their shit

I'd like a weakest link who in the most pressured game in his life goes 11-2 with his team averaging below 1:1 kd over 8:1 cs to minute ratio on a hero who's never picked.

Maybe they'll reveal some tactics or special stuff but i doubt that as well. These are not just "some games". Context is so very important, if you think these games are the same as your local scrims or public matchmaking, you are mistaken. The mental fatigue of playing three of the most demanding game series back-to-back with the biggest pressure you've ever felt, with a crowd that, let's be honest, doesn't like you... it's taxing to say the least.

I'd again like to point at game 1 where despite an AWFUL start he managed to get numerous kills and became #1 in farm in the whole game, him completely carrying in game 2 and 3, amazing farm in game 3 on a freaking Faceless Void who's not even picked ever. It's like people completely ignore carry players. Killing heroes = you're a god. However farming well should be automatic and when you do that it's no big deal and no-skill. Stop talking. I know NaVi, I've followed them since before DotA2. XBOCT is a great player, but is the most inconsistent of their players recently. Farming is not hard for any good carry player, it's all about the team working around you, allowing you to farm. There were several situations when he was waiting too long with the chrono. But if you want something concrete - focusing a Tide who has popped his ulti. Not killing a hero who was stuck in chrono with 20% and instead hitting DS ending up getting noone. Notice how he got hexed during the gap between his chronosphere and bkb? That's a mistake. Happened several times. But what sticks out most is that he's been doing some not-so-great AM ulties throughout this tournament. Don't get me wrong, I love NaVi and they are ALL great players. But you have to be able to be objective too. It's just that XBOCT isn't up to his usual standard, maybe its nerves?
