Meh, why even care about ESL after all.. Still it sold out pretty fast Also the bracket is determined by the groupplay, which is the standard in every major tournament, isn't it? Go complain to your favorite toptier-team for not placing 1st instead of complaining about the organizer no, the single-elim bracket has nothing to do with group play. Shitty pairings & topheavy brackets will always happen sometimes, they just don't have to make the finals ass lol
this tournament really shot itself in the foot between the terrible qualifier formats (time elimination for kaipi rofl) and the single elim finals. There's something wrong when a LAN with an almost $25k prizepool is less hyped than the online qualifiers for it's competitors (DHInv & G1), despite a big buildup/extensive qualification process

dont forget the non existing production so far.

very sad how ESL held the qualification. 4 cups were perfectly fine, but groupplay with bo1 afterwards? wtf... what they did for cs go was much better

forgot they didn't qualify in the first place, presumably just clarifying that they won't be replacements either.

Regarding a replacement for Virtus.pro – we're on it!

regarding the qualifiers, i guess it well be changed for the next time.

Kaipi, TCM and Rats in the Dark got invited as VP replacement (as Empire isn´t going) since they where the 3rd places of their groups. If both Kaipi and TCM accept invite they play a deciding game today. Would be nice for Kaipi to qualify after being knocked out because of time tiebreaker, if I don´t confuse this with some other tournament.

I highly doubt it will have the same production... but hey, hope they prove me wrong.

Romania and Poland are EU countries, I don't think they need any.
Romanians should be able to go to Poland for 90 days no problem.
