Seriously, whoever came up with this system is not doing his job properly. Starting with the fact that US teams get a free ride through the first qualifiers set. The US ladder is really confusing with points decaying and wahtnot. The bo1 cups with a bo3 finals for just points. Then you have these groups, bu far the most important and attractive matches, and it's bo1s with a fucking time rating on top of all things. Furthermore, the production quality is horrendous. It's basically exactly the same as joinDOTA casting their online tournaments... I hope the LAN finals will be good at least.

I'm not sure about this, but I believe if they gave up early, they would be the ones out, not Na'Vi. I believe it was Na'Vi,KP advance if this game finishes before around 38 minutes, and Na'Vi, AL advance otherwise.

Everything about how this tournament is set up just sucks hardcore and needs to be revised. What a waste of all that money.

Yeah, but the thing is, AL already knew the time ratings on their two wins, so provided they know they're going to lose this game, they have total control of the time coefficient, and so long as the amount of time they need to drag the game out to advance < the amount of time KP needs to advance, they're able to decide the results. For example, say AL needed to drag the game out to > 30 minutes to advance, and KP needs to finish it < 40 to advance, then AL calling GG at 35 min ensures both of them advance. Course, this requires they have a person telling them when Na'Vi finished.

Na`Vi claim first place in Group B on time rating, with Absolute Legends taking second place, also on time rating. Nice flame JD In addition, us Sam 'Bulba' Sosale has recently made fun of us Team Dignitas for losing to Absolute Legends 2-0 in The Premier League. It would seem that someone will have to eat a big old serving of crow tonight. http://www.joindota.com/en/news/7757-ems-one-group-b-results

What I'm saying is that my belief is that AL needed to drag the game out to >38 minutes to advance, and KP needed to finish it <38 minutes to advance. Na'Vi had 2 decently fast wins and 1 slow loss, so unless AL gg'd 2 minutes in or something (in which case AL would not have advanced, and Na'Vi would still advance albeit in second place), Na'Vi was already guaranteed first place and the time on AL vs. Kaipi only decided who got second.

I see. In that case it was Na'Vi who was locked in, okay.

Bulba flamed AUI2k on MAAD, thats fine, its a feud or a grudge between them, let them fight it over twitter or something. Maybe Bulba has to eat his words, whatever I don't give a shit, let them flame each other on the next MAAD episode. However Joindota decides to put it in their newspost regarding EMS, what are they, the Sun?

I understand that after this evening you are quite emotional, however you should calm down. Bulba did not only flame Aui, he also kinda insulted AL, didnt he? Isnt that the worst thing you can do? Offend a team, that cant defend itself? However, i am sure JD will react to that.

I'm amazed why everyone of you is acting surprised, this is exactly the sontent to expect from jD... I think you're just mad it was directed at a Team Liquid player. When there were jokes about ArtStyle quiting and returning to competitive DotA(or something similar), nobody here gave a shit. Now they call out Bulba and joinDOTA is literally Hitler again. The bias, the bias...
