ahahaha.
Ya last night bamboe was a standin for bditz (not sure if my spelling was right or wrong), and afaik there is no special rule on whoever standing in for any team.

You doters ready for Liquid vs EG tomorrow...? Sad I probably can't watch so please, a live update would be cool.

the general rule is 1 standin max that's not on any other team competing in the tournament, exceptions can be requested and made in certain situations (such as dig when they were DDoS'd)

Could not watch the matches, are they stepping up their game again? well eg got bamboe as a standin and you cant lose with bamboe doto. this guy got the first blood, sniped a courier, stole aegis, splitpushed a lot of towers including the t4 and took ~80% of the throne hp while still being in a lot of fights. all in one game. pretty impressive prophet play.
First blood, courier snipe and aegis steal can be attributed to Bamboe. Split pushing the top rax and throne dive were more-or-less team decisions...you don't push into rax without trees unless you're planning to split push from the start.
Second game, Bamboe as Mag didn't have any notable plays at all.
I'd say that Fear as support made the biggest difference. Lots of amazing counter-initiations, good warding/de-warding, solid ganks as NA. Really showed how much impact good, solid support play makes when your carries are given lots of room to work and when something like a Batrider is completely shut down.

*edit* Found out why Eg is in, AL backed out due to work, sorry about post

AL had to back out due to their players having work issues

2nd chance for eg, hopefully they dont failcake. if i was to to rank eg and tl on a scale of 1-10, eg would be 6 and tl would be 4.

I'm torn on who I want to win. I'd feel awful for EG to get a 2nd chance like this and lose. But TL has been my favorite group of players for a long time now.
