I really feel like the mag player gets too much credit (or abuse) for the RP's; you see terrible and great mag games from the same mag players simply because opportunities are there or aren't (usually down to compositions/the other players in the game)
Yao, or 420, mag is something else because the team plays around it so well, just like Akke chen or bulldog druid.

Magnus is picked more often because
he can do decent at off-lane/mid.
Sure he doesn't have pushing power like Enigma.
You can't go jungle Enigma.
Because you can be punished easily by Chinese team who knows what they are doing.
I argued Magnus is a better utility hero than Enigma.
Magnus RP is easier to land and has a lower cooldown.
There is more room for marginal error for RP usage than Black Hole.
Magnus also scale better in the late game with empower.

Enigma has fallen out of favour, it is still a viable hero and will be played again when people remember why they picked him in the first place. Which wasn't for black hole.
