DK's surprised me, they've been the Chinese team to really show new strategies and haven't >just< been 4-Protect-Burning, thank god. Probably why they're probably going to be the best performing Chinese team of the tournament.
I'm still baffled as to why we didn't see LGD playing Kunkka throughout this tournament though. Yeah, they were relying on Magnus which took Kunkka's mid, but they looked so much worse than they did during G1.

Maybe because it was forced upon them after the early game, but Xiao8 was no Bulldog. If the game is put into a position where Xiao8 has to farm, the game is lost. There's a mis-attribution of roles here by LGD because Xiao8 is the one who has far better sense of ganking/gameflow/tempo-carrying ability, while Yao is a stronger laner and has better overall management of his own tempo and farm. So an arrangement like the one they had this game is destined for disaster. I've said this for months, and I changed my LGD fan icon over this shit. I changed it back when they started putting Xiao8 mid again, but when they come to TI3 and pull out this bullshit that clearly didn't work months ago, it's insanely frustrating for me as an LGD fan. LGD. Just fucking put Xiao8 mid. Just do it. Even if he loses his lane, he will set up the rest of the team to win the game because he's excellent at finding opportunities from behind like that. Xiao8 getting FBed is good luck anyway. You mean "almost all fucking Ti3" instead of "this game". The game today where they had Xiao8 mid they came the closest out of any team this tournament to beating Alliance.
Then they put Yao mid again and lose to Liquid.

No western team brought something completely new to this tourney either.
Really not sure how the chinese teams get to this stage tbh, seems like a chaos in their circle since this march while TF (being the inconsistent one) and DK get to pull their shit together, DK played so damn bad back then but i have been believing them and they really come back to their top form (i wouldn't say their best form though).
Suddenly I am so glad that Azarkon is banned, by a non-dota2 mod lol Really have no mood to see his post right now.

Zenith perfect team to ruin any kind of attempt at getting shit together tho. =P
